The WORST! There's ROACHES , drug deals, running around all hours of the night. The staff smoke weed and live on site. I lasted 3 days until I said "let's go". No refunds either lol of course
Rooms: They stink

Sonya the manager, Angelica, and Jessica were great. They gave great customer service and answered all of my questions. The unit I was in was a cozy studio and it was nice. Thank you guys again and God Bless all of you.

I have been here for over a year and loving it! The staff here especially the manager Sonya are awesome! From the time I moved in till now they have made me feel like part of the family and at home. Sure there are some issues just like any other place but at least they're working on it and improving everyday. Would I recommend it to family or friends? Of course I would! Keep up the good work!

From staying here for a while I can conclude that it’s a waste of money, super sketchy people and management so be careful, room reeking of weed when you walk by the halls. Police comes by here all the time because of reports

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN.
I never write reviews but this place definitely deserves, it was the worst place I have ever been I couldn’t stay a single night there, the place has a big problem of roaches, bedbugs, mold.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN.

Sonia and Angelica are the worst! They both verbally attacked me, stating I was late on my rent. In reality I paid my rent ahead of time. Sonia is friends with the addicts and allows them on property!
Rooms: Horrible
Nearby activities: No activities
Safety: I felt unsafe

Absolute hell of a hotel. I thought this would be a great, cheap place to help me get back up on my feet, clearly, I should have read the reviews before stepping foot into this building.
First few nights were fine. Some yelling heard through the walls from neighbors, small smell of weed in the elevators, sex store right next door, where the bus stop is. Cool..
Lived here for a couple months, wondered why I progressively felt sick, found some mold in the creases of the bathroom walls and around the bathtub. Smell of mold in the carpets. Awesome! Thank you for that.
Stiff bed. Very great, thank you so much.
Few more months in, roaches! I love visitors! They were everywhere within just days of noticing them..office did nothing except give me some roach poison, but by then it was an infestation.
Few more months, trying to find a new place, fleas and I SUSPECT bedbugs. I kept waking up to little red bites, my back was covered in bites and i always felt itchy. My animals are indoor pets, so it wasn't from them. It was very upsetting to see my babies feeling just as itchy as i was.
No smoking sign, yet every so often i would see smokers right outside and the faint still occuring scent of weed in the halls.
Forgot to mention, the air conditioning has been broken for months. They replaced it finally, but the one they gave me looked older, like it had been taken out of the dumpster.
Overall, I would NOT recommend staying here even for a night.
The matinence does nothing to help these issues, and i feel so upset knowing this place is still open. Get better staff or throw the whole building away.
Safety: Unsafe. I fear a further spread of mold and bugs.

This is mostly meant for the at-risk veteran community in san antonio and surrounding areas.I'm going to start by saying that I am here for 7 days on the VA's dime, as you may be considering. I have been staying in my car due to financial hardship, and the veterans affairs set me up here for a little bit. I am very appreciative of this. The hotel company itself does not earn moral points for this imo, as securing a government contract is extremely lucrative.Security guy is wearing a sweatsuit lol. Obviously not professional, but he pulls it off, and honestly im jealous lol. He was nice enough though. Big dude. Possibly armed, it wasn't obvious. Given the location I hope he is armed. I would describe the lady at the front as serviceable. Apparently she is the mean one. She was fine. Short, but not mean at all. Maintenance guy blatantly lied to me about the roaches that were in front of us. I get it, it's likely mandated. I don't hold it against him. He was very nice. I have to lie at work too. 2.5/5 overall for staff.Location could be better. A lady was hitting a crackpipe right outside the entrance as I walked up. That's whatever. She said sorry lol so she was nice at least. Right by medical center which is not ideal. Can hear the highway. There's a small homeless encampment in the parking lot. I'm not judging, I'm here for similar reasons after all, but surely many would view this as negative. I'll say 2.5/5 but most people would go lower I think. The rooms get a zero for me. This is the worst roach infestation I have ever seen. Keep in mind I have lived in 60 year old barracks on ft hood and been to combat. Ive slept on the ground countless times. This is not my first time homeless either. I'm no stranger to these vile(yet very interesting i will admit) creatures. In the first 2 hours I killed 23 roaches while the sun was still up. I can hear them in the walls. 0/5 for rooms.I will not bring anything in here aside from base necessities and will be leaving them behind. I will sleep in my car overnight, but stay in the lot here; which is safer than elsewhere. I won't be arrested or asked to leave as I have a room, though i am concerned about safety, as i am unarmed. But I can use the bathroom and refrigerator as needed. So it's still a benefit given my current situation, but definitely do not stay here if you can avoid it. I suspect bed bugs as well but I will not be testing that!My family and VA rep are telling me this is better than staying in my car, I disagree. To be fair I have a small suv so I can lay the seats down and lay down. You will have to decide for yourself if this is worth it, of course.I am mainly speaking to the at-risk veteran community. Thank you.

I’ve been at Siegel select for about a month now and it has been really good. There are some things that are not great but they are easy to get over. My first week here my service animal got attacked by another dog that was off leash in the elevator. I immediately went back stairs to my fiance who was at the gym and the manager was down there after hours and heard what happened and fixed it immediately! Sonia is sweet (kinda intimidating) but really sweet lol the people who stay here I have had no problems with and are very friendly. This isn’t a 5 star resort obviously but if you’re in a tight spot like I am it’s a great place to get on your feet. The room are honestly really nice for the area and for what I was expecting. I’ve seen a couple roaches but they offer pest control and to move you into another room if need be but I just got some roach spray and all has been good. A lot of these negative reviews have me bad impressions on this place before moving in but it is nothing like that and I was very pleased to find this out.

I'm astonished at some of these comments. This is my 3rd extended stay for a lengthy period of time. This place by far is the Best most comfortable place I have stayed. Sonia waited for my arrival Dec. 28th. Some times maintenance takes a day or 2 due to the fact the main man is working very hard to complete his service requests. There is b a couple but not 1/2 as good as the main guy.Sonia checked me in, Angelica showed me my room, I immediately dropped my bags. Going on 3 mos, Best long stay I've ever stayed. Sonia explained everything I needed to know before she took my payment. These ladies don't push you to stay here. My son Bryan suggested this place I immediately was welcomed. I had a small problem with my rent, both ladies worked with me so I could make arrangements. I was at our grocery store, Angelica saw me waiting on a ride, she & her husband brought me back. Sonia listens attentively she & Angelica go out of their way to assist the tenants. These ladies are professional, friendly personable & they take my teasing very well. I am happy I made the decision to live here. These ladies make me feel like family.I highly recommend Siegel Select. No other extended stay Rewards you for paying rent. Few more points I will use them to get my new computer.Stay here, you won't regret it!Rooms: Spacious for a studio. Never hear the traffic. Residents obey the quiet time hours.Walkability: No soclise however bus stop is a 12 min walk.
