Place is a scam don’t know how they’ve been open for that long. Kept my vehicle for 2 months on a power steering leak that wasn’t fixed and was charged $800. Avoid this place like the plague many good shops down military this isn’t one.

Horrible experience with this shop if I could give zero star I would. They held my families vehicle for over six weeks never touched it when we went back to go get my families vehicle They tried to charge us for work that was never done. After taking it to another shop because they would give us the runaround the other shop fixed the engine and said I would need a return it to Moreno and sons as the remainder of the work would be covered on my warranty. Moreno and sons agreed to this and took the car back and finish the work that was covered under the warranty. They held on to the vehicle for another month and worked on it. We were told personally numerous times that we would not have to pay anything as everything was covered. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle we were told we still owe $500 for work. The day before we were told by an employee that we would not owe any money and we could pick up the vehicle the next day. To are dismisay we arrived and were told we would have to pay the 500 or we would not get our vehicle back after we originally were told by the owner and other shop members that we owe nothing and that they wanted to make this right. Long story, short, horrible shop. They are not men of their words and I still had to pay out-of-pocket for warranty work that was covered. Do not trust this shop you will regret it. Go anywhere else in San Antonio but here. They will take as much money out of you as they can and hold your vehicle hostage for half ass work.

These folk do excellent quality work. At a price you can't beat anywhere else. That and just the customer service its spot on. They really take care of you and get the job done.

I recently visited this business because my son recommended it and I met a man by the name of Joe who took a look at my car and took his time researching and making sure he was getting to the root of my problem. It ended up being my throttle body which needed to be cleaned and replace my pcv valve and then he replaced my brake pads and resurfaced my rotors and my sway link bar and sway link bushings. Now my car drives nice and smooth. I would recommend Joe to anyone and he is honest and fair and doesn’t overcharge. Joe is an amazing man with lots of knowledge when it comes to mechanic work and I highly recommend going to Moreno and sons for all your car needs!!!

Needed a quick fix for a broken bolt in my bracket and they managed to get it out without it stripped and saved me the hassle of replacing this bracket! Thank you!!

Moreno's and sons has been a disappointment they take long time to return a rebuild engine. They did a bad job! They used a old oil pump and engine locked up.They suck I payed a lot of money.

I'm from out of town I went to visit family my car broke down and I called them and they said they would help me out terrfic customer service and the mechanic that worked on my vehicle stayed late on a holiday to fix it . I would highly recommend anyone to use this great business

I've only used them recently, I just learned about them. I'm working on a few older 1960-1970 Mopar vehicles and this place is the only place that I have been able to find most of the parts I need. Not the biggest storefront in town, but if they don't have what you need they can order it. Small,friendly mom & pop type place with friendly people

My truck disappeared from their parking lot on July 5 of 21'. I spent 3000 on a engine rebuild which took over a month. I got my truck back with electronic problems it didn't have before. I took it back thinking that they would fix what they messed up. The had it some more weeks. When I called on July 8th of 21' to see if it was finally done. He said " You didn't pick it up". It had been gone 3 days already.I took him to small claims and won. As of April of 23 the shop hasn't made it right.

Had them rebuild a engine and it took them 3 years then I finally got it back and had problems right off the bat I told them about my issues and they say I have to drive and break it in for 1000 miles but after that the problem was still there I had drop off my truck and demanded they fix the problem and the they wanted me to drive it for another 1,000 miles I refused to do so as my warranty was about to expire witch I think they were hoping for they end up having to rebuild the hole thing again cuz they didn't know what the problem was now they fixed it and about 3-4 months and 3500 miles go by and the exact problem as before happened again 5k down the drain I would not recommend this shop even a oil change

These guys have done some machine work for me my hot rods and family car. Very knowledgeable and great service. Definitely a mom and pop shop, don't come here expecting autozone or O'Reillys. Give these guys a look if you need your rotors turned, heads ground or block machined.
