Needed my entire transmission replaced in my 2016 Mazda Miata. They did it for several thousand dollars less than what Mazda and other mechanics quoted me. Dropped my car off Monday, and by Friday, it was fixed. Amazing! The total (after tax) was even cheaper than what they quoted me!

I left my 2011 Highlander for CV joint service. I know fluid leakage can cause degradation of boots that protect CV joints. Their diagnostic suggested I replace the auto transmission filter, gasket and flush the system and the radiator. Bear in mind I had no apparent problems with the radiator or automatic transmission. One week later the transmission goes out on my move from San Antonio to Spring, TX leaving me stranded around Schulenberg. All the mechanic in Schulenberg could offer is that my transmission is blown. He can't point to any event that could have caused it. He is not a transmission expert. Some experts online suggest the following about transmission flush "The flushing procedure may cause some fluid to move in the opposite direction of normal flow due to eddy currents, which may increase the risk of dislodging debris and causing it to settle somewhere it shouldn't."You live and learn. I would suggest to anyone unless they are having problems with their transmission to leave it alone. This work cost $2,500, a new transmission probably $6,500 (I'm not going used). I will probably just sell the Highlander to the mechanic in Schulenberg if he will buy it.This isn't a reflection of Chad Miller or his service but a warning to all having their vehicle serviced. Don't do procedures that you don't feel are needed. This lesson cost me my vehicle and is upsetting.Sorry for the negative but beware.

Transmission on my 2015 Chrysler Town & Country went out so i had it towed to Chad Miller Auto Care. Communication was excellent with everyone i spoke with including Chad. Excellent service!! I had my vehicle back on the road in less than a week!! Definitely recommend and will use their services again.

Chad Miller is very honest and considerate towards their customers and I was so impressed with the service we received.We came in without an appointment due to a coolant leak. He asked if we could leave the car with him so he could get to it when they got the chance. It looked like they were very busy as their parking lot was completely full of cars. We let him know we were hoping to get it repaired today as we were supposed to be leaving on a trip tomorrow. He immediately stopped what he was doing to inspect my car and see if it was possible to make time to fix it today.After quickly finding the issue, he gave us his quote and told us he could try to fit us in today but didn’t want to promise anything and risk taking away the opportunity of us finding another shop that could fit us in and fix the issue in the same day.We ended up going to another shop that was able to fit us in, but I was so beyond impressed with the service we received! I feel like most places would’ve told us, “you need it tomorrow? Should’ve made an appointment, not our problem.” But Chad Miller really tried to work with us and was very considerate of our needs and very honest with expectations.My husband has been going to Chad Miller since we moved to San Antonio and I now understand why. I will most definitely return to this business with any future car needs I have and I will join my husband in recommending this business to anyone else in need.

I found that my driver side headlight was out. Knowing that I was going to be returning home at night, I checked in at Chad Miller Auto to see if there was any way they could squeeze me in to get my lamp fixed. Chad asked me to pull my car up to an open bay and he met me there. He asked me to open the hood. He quickly yanked out my old bulb, walked back into the shop and emerged a short time later with a new bulb in hand. He popped it in and everything was working like normal again. All this was done in less than 5 minutes. I met him back inside when he was finished and asked what the price would be. He only charged me for the part and said he only did 2 minutes of labor. I was extremely impressed and appreciative.I’ve been a customer at this shop for years and it’s this kind of service that keeps me coming back and sending all of my friends there. Thanks Chad. Keep being awesome.

I brought my Corolla in due to a loud noise from my tires while driving. It had turned out that my wheel bearings and hubs needed to be replaced. The workers at Chad Miller Auto Care were thorough in their inspection. They are reasonably priced and only recommend repairs that are needed. Their customer service is unparalleled. They answered all of my questions about the process and kept me updated during the whole process. Everything from the parts arriving to when it was almost complete. They truly care about their customers and treat them like family. I highly recommend them to anyone needed mechanical repairs.

We took our vehicle to Chad Miller Auto hoping to find an alternative to the dealership. Unfortunately, we are sorely disappointed with the service we received and the lack of customer support. We paid to have our vehicle serviced for factory-scheduled 60-, 70-, and 80,000-mile maintenance, and we were told upon pick up that “everything looks good.” Shortly after leaving on a trip out-of-state, we discovered that a broken windshield spray nozzle, which the receptionist confirmed upon check-in would be fixed, was still broken. Also, while driving on the highway, the belly pan, which we later learned had eroded to an extreme degree, broke on one side, pulling with it parts of the wheel wells. After an emergency pullover, we had to remove multiple pieces of plastic from under the vehicle.Upon arriving at our destination, we took the vehicle to the dealership. We were informed that the services for which we paid at Chad Miller Auto should have included repair of the spray nozzle and an inspection of the undercarriage (both of which were listed on our receipt from them). We were also told that the damage underneath should have been reported. Despite Chad Miller Auto servicing our vehicle and telling us everything was fine, we ended up paying over $1,300 on additional repairs.In the last week and half, we have reached out five times to discuss our experience, spoken with three employees, and twice been told we would receive callbacks that never occurred. During each attempt, we have either been ignored, told information that turned out to be untrue, or met with outright hostility. While I would have much preferred to resolve the situation privately, I am posting this review because we can no longer afford to spend time attempting to engage this business.In the end, Chad Miller Auto refused to stand by their work on our vehicle and did not provide us with basic customer service. We will not be returning.To Chad Miller Auto: Please do not post a response to this review. As a reminder, I spoke with Tony during my second phone call to your business. Tony informed me that we would be refunded for the belly pan and that he would call me back later that day. He never did. During my fourth phone call, Jason asked me to send the receipt from the dealership so you all could discuss a refund. I sent the receipt, called to confirm that you received it, and was told I would receive a callback later that day. No one called me back (that was three days ago). If you were willing to work with me on this matter or offer an explanation about our experience, you have had multiple opportunities to do so.

Nothing but great things to say! I already knew it would be good based on the heavy amount of good reviews but I decided to try out myself. I usually go to the dealership for my car but those prices are not always affordable. Went here and got an issue in my car fixed and they found another issue and also fixed that as well and at an affordable rate! They even went above and beyond and helped me out and ziptied some hanging pieces on my car that I couldnt figure out how to do myself! Greatly appreciated and will come back!
