They Don’t know how to read. I marked savings on a deposit and they still put it on my checking acct. I’ve been checking for it and it never went through. Bc they put it in the wrong acct. I’m glad it was still my acct but it could’ve easily been misplaced due to the lack of attention. I’m gonna change banks as soon as I get a chance. You should too.

I am reluctant to even give Chase Bank one star. The recent experience I had with Chase Bank is the most unethical and unfathomable thing that has ever happened to me as a banking customer. I deposited a check from my mom and instead of disputing it right away, Chase Bank allowed it to be deposited into my account and then on the day it was to be made available to me (which was 2 weeks from the day I deposited it), they froze my account, stating that my mom needed to go into a Chase Bank with two forms of identification in order to verify that she is the maker of the check. Keep in mind that the funds were taken out of her account and placed into my Chase account the day I deposited it. And, my mom is disabled and the closest Chase Bank to her is a 10-hour drive. They also said another day to verify would be to call her but there was no phone number in their system for her and they would not call the phone number I gave them because it couldn't be verified by their system. So, when they froze my account, it was too late to stop payment on my mom's check and her funds sat in my frozen Chase account, and is still there 2 weeks later. I talked to multiple Chase Bank representatives who are located apparently in India. There was a definite language barrier and not only was it difficult for them to understand me, they obviously did not care about my situation. However, I finally talked to a representative last Wednesday who told me that my mom needed to "recall the funds." So, I immediately called my mom and she called her bank and they started the process to recall the funds. At the time, they said it would be taken care of within 3-5 business day but on this day (Day 6) the issue is still under review. So, it has been about 5 weeks since I deposited the check and I needed the money for an emergency. Unfortunately, due to all of this chaos, my life has been negatively impacted. I only hope I can recover from the personal damages that this mishap has caused. It makes me wonder if Chase was holding onto my money to cook their books. The amount of the check was significant and maybe they needed it so it would look like they had more money than they really did. If you are thinking about banking at Chase Bank, I highly recommend that you choose a different institution. I have had absolutely nothing but horrible experiences at Chase Bank. At this point, we are just hoping that someone with some intelligence will get involved and save us. Every Chase representative I have talked to in the US says that the company in India has total control over my account and my funds so no one here can do anything to help me. Keep in mind that this is the worst experience I've had with Chase Bank. Not the only experience. It has been nothing but trouble and inconvenience since the day I opened my account.

I feel I was given the run around about cashing a Texas Rent Relief check. Couldn't even give me a cashier's check or money order. The check clearly says J. P Morgan Chase Bank. I'm very disappointed since the rent is due in 2 days.

This branch is horrible they dont value their customers time had me waiting 3p mins just to tell me that they were u able to complete my transaction. The same type of transaction that anothe_r branch off nacodoghes completed for me one day before. I was on this side of town so i ran inside and the one man that finally helped me was rude and inconsiderated , do not waste your time at this branch its a shame they have the chase name because they're not up to chase standards

The chase bank on 512 E highland doe not offer a restroom to its members. They have a plaque stating “no public restroom”. It’s understandable if a non bank member wants to use it “ just because” but for my grandmother who is 84 years old and been with chase for many years is ridiculous! Does chase not value its elderly members? I’ll let the public decide.

Horrible branch I ever been! Service very very slow with banker office, just saw the old fat man taking care of one customer for 2 hours, no any other staff can help for just opening the account. That's ridiculous !
