I'm done with chase. After this check clears. Done. I deposit my payroll check on 1/19/2024. Chase has a hold on it till 1/30/2024. I would be almost paid 2 different times by the time my check clears. Got a 1.50 too my name. No way too put gas in my car or get too work. They should be a warning when you deposit the check. That it could take 12days for a check too clear.

Liza and Tanner were so friendly and endearing, the staff is always supportive of my needs and answered all my questions. Jessica offered me a water. They also showed me Credit Journey and how to use this tool. Thank you.

I called the bank to make sure they could help me set up auto payment for my credit card. Adrian said yes and to come to the bank. After I took my lunch hour to go to the bank, they told me they could not help me. This is poor customer service. I will not be using Chase again.

1 star because you cant select 0. Terrible customer service trying to get an appointment to open a checking account for my child has proven to be a challenge for this branch. Just received a call canceling my appointment 20 min prior.

Let me tell you about Chase Bank. My 18 year old step daughter received a $50 check from my father as a graduation gift. Chase Bank felt that it was a good idea to place the $50 on a 10 business day hold. When talking with the Chase fraud department they told me that they needed to speak with the person that wrote the check to confirm the validity of the $50 check. The issuer of the check is NOT a Chase account holder. The $50 check was written off of a credit union that resides in the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank locale. As does my step daughters account that she has with Chase. After speaking with multiple "supervisors" at Chase it was relayed to me that it was imperative that they speak with my father regarding this $50 check. Today was actually the 8th business day of the hold on the $50 check. Chase and their people attempted to contact my father multiple times. And if you know my dad, he doesn't answer calls from companies he doesn't transact business with. I managed to find out that the Chase Rep would call a "publicly available" phone number for my father. His cell # is NOT on his checks. Chase would leave a message for him to call them back. He did, multiple times and he was unable to speak with anyone about this issue. So after 90 minutes of phone time with Chase, the 2nd Chase "supervisor" tells me that she was able to confirm my relationship with the issuer of the check and the hold was released. Here's the best part. I have NO relationship with Chase. No accounts, no loans. Nothing. All Chase knows of me is my name that we gave them over the phone. I could have been any random person. And when common sense finally hit that a 10 business day hold for a $50 check was kind of excessive. The hold was released even though the check cleared the account it was drawn off a week ago. Here's the moral of the story. Maybe (I highly doubt it) someone at Chase can start teaching common sense. My stepdaughter WILL be closing her Chase account today. No big lose for them, it's a 18 year olds account. However, the kids mother has multiple large business accounts with Chase that she WILL be closing. And besides this long winded comment, I am going to find every review site possible and give Chase Bank the lowest rating that I can. Chase is a terrible bank. The customer service is just as terrible. 1 star for Chase!!

The customer service here is trash. I have three accounts with Chase and the worker (can’t remember her name) very rudely told me I’d have to open up a fourth business account if I wanted to continue coming in to get $5’s and $1’s in exchange for my $20’s that I need for work. Ridiculous. I’ve since started going to the chase bank down the road (bulverde & 1604) They laughed when I told them what the Evans branch had said (the teller literally said we’re a bank, you’re a valued member, of course we can change out your $20’s.) Needless to say I’ll never go back to the Evans branch again which is a shame because it is a more convenient location.

Garbage customer service, make everything more complicated than it has to be. If you are a small business owner don't bother using this branch.

Went into this location and customer service was horrible, it took Joann Garcia, and Pam Wendel nearly 20 min to simply call a customer to verify a check.. Then once they did no apology at all. The 1604 and Blanco locations much better if you live in this area..

Where is the two thumbs down? It is bad enough they are doing construction on Evans, but even worse when the bank teller is so useless and unhelpful that you have to drive all the way back up to the 281 location to get customer service. The whole time I drove back up Evans, I thought to myself that I wouldn't review my experience if I could not complete my transaction but at least got an explanation. But unfortunately for Pam and fortunately for me they completed my request in under two minutes. To say that Pam couldn't have cared less about my inquiry would be an over statement of how I was treated. I spoke to Chase customer service this morning and was told in order to do the transaction that I wanted to complete I would need to go into a branch. Actually Jamella from customer service was an absolute delight, she proposed three different options for me and I figured the best way to get things done is face to face in the branch, but unfortunately I came face to face with Pam and she did not help, care, or seem to give a darn about much except charging me for an additional product, that I did not need. So here I am, outside of the 281 location, not less than 2 miles from Evans and Bulverde with my transaction complete and a warm smile from the banker to boot. Not sure what the breakdown is over at that branch, but someone from corporate should take a look under the hood.

This bank is awful. Came here to make a cash deposit for my daughter, and they wouldn't accept my deposit. Really? What bank doesn't accept cash? I'm glad I have usaa and my daughter is in the process of getting the same. Stay away from this bank. Wish I could give it negative stars.
