Never have I ever been so disrespected in the retail store. Can I just say that Clark shoe are one of the most comfortable shoes and boots for my feet. (I've had many toes surgeries) I believe in the quality products they manufacture. Today, a male employee all but removed the desire to spend my hard earned money in this La Cantera Clarks shoe store. To be treated their customers with such disrespect and unprofessionalism is disgusting. I'm still seeing red. I did not receive the customer service deserved as a purchaser of our Clark product. I made an online purchase of not 1 but three pairs of shoes. My shoe size depends on the shoe made. My order was for the standard shoe size that I usually purchase. The shoes didn't fit it was a half size too big and was skipping off my foot; so a size change was required. I came in with all three pairs of shoes to get a refund because "the store didn't have the shoes I purchased", says the male employee. Now, this isn't the first time I've purchased shoes and/or boots from this very same employee and the service was trouble then, as well. I explained that I ordered them online. His response was that I had to have the return labeling that came in the box or he could not accept the return. I asked him to measure my foot so when I reorder, I will get the correct size. He told me that my foot size was a whole size smaller than it really is; so I tried on another pair of shoes to test it out. They were too small so I asked for the next size up, and they too were too small, so I asked for another size up (which I purchased). I didn't make a fuss and left the store. This did not sit right with me so I went home to find the return label, to no avail. This prompted me to READ the return policy, which said no such thing. The policy read that the shoes must not have been wore, (check), return must be done within a 60 day windows, (check, purchased on 19 OCT 2022), and you must have the original receipt (check- online receipt). I went a step further and called another store to hear the policy from another store employees, description of its policy and was the same as what I read online. I went back to the store, which was busy. It was a lady employee, which I found out was the manager of this store. She said, she'd help as soon as she could which is totally understandable. The male employee came from the back and asked it he could help me and I said, no and that I wanted a manager. I told him at he had every opportunity to help me and he didn't so he asked me, what was issue, so I gave him a recap of our conversation, less than an hour previous. The manager came, I told her the issue and she apologized and said that she would take care of it. My refund was given and she said, when you come in next time I will take care of you. Although, she was very professional, I don't feel like was enough. I'm not playing any race card but I felt discriminated against by him treating me so unprofessionally. Yes, to the manager and boo to her employee. Words of advice: KNOW HOW TO READ THE FOOT MEASURER AND KNOW AND ENFORCE THE STORE POLICIES, ESPECIALLY, IF YOU WORKED IN THAT SAME STORE FOR AT LEAST 2 TO 5 YEARS, LIKE HE HAS. DOUBLE BOO ON YOU, SIR.

If you want to buy shoes from a company with a horrible return policy and zero care about their customers, shop at CLARKS! I just spent $200 trying to find shoes to work with my feet that were severely injured during my time of service. I went through several pair and explained my injuries and situation to the salesman, who emphatically reassured me that if something was wrong, that they would help make it right. After wearing the shoes for a grand total of 3 hours, I was beset by excruciating pain, it turns out that the shoes flex right at the point of my injury. This sucks, but is par for the course. I went back to Clark's to try to return my shoes as per my conversation with the person who sold them to me. The person in the store when I returned had a completely different perspective. I've worn the shoes "at all" outside the store, so I am completely unable to return them. Doesn't matter that they are still in pristine condition. Doesn't matter that they don't stand by their word when they sell their product. JIf you leave with it, it ain't coming back. So you better love it. Clarks, or at least this Clark's, only cares about profit, not about customer base. And there's almost nothing you can do in terms of complaints. 15/10 recommend you look somewhere else, with people who actually treat you like you are spending hundred of dollars on their products. Don't waste your money like I did.

3x Edit.I had stopped by on a date I can’t recall but got a great deal on my purchase! However, I had stopped by prior to this visit wks ago to attempt to purchase a grey suede tassle loafer. I was helped by an employee who is named Becky. I had declined in taking a shoe I tried on due to not liking the shape of the shoe. I wanted a grey suede loafer that was similar to the shape and structure of my brown suede loafer I own. I had mentioned to her as she took the grey shoe box that I own a handmade brown suede tassle loafer. She walked away and mocked at my comment as if I was lying. I was upset however I kept my composure and my emotions intact.I went home and found my brown suede tassle loafers. Attached is a picture of my hand made brown suede loafer that I purchased from a small business owned by a Spanish family located in Ecuador in South America.(I’m not sure what was her deal, although I do have a hunch of what it might have been I just don’t have solid proof just my experience). Either way, I hope she finds another job or is replaced with somebody smart.Thank you.

Had stopped by a couple days ago and got a great deal on a purchase. However, I had stopped by prior to this visit wks ago to attempt to purchase a grey suede tassle loafer. I wasn’t impressed with the loafer summer collection by Clarks. I had mentioned to the sales associate, team lead and/or store manager (didn’t know her position at that time) that I own a handmade brown suede tassle loafer, she walked away and mocked my comment as if I was lying.Well, the picture below don’t lie.(If you are a darker complexion coloured customer be careful when the elderly woman with the dark hair named Becky. You’ll have a horrible experience when shopping, you’ll not be treated equally as a white paying customer).BTW Becky, these shoes are made in South America and thankfully not by an American like you! You’re welcome.

Nice shoes. I own four pairs of Clark's shoes and I had them for years. Those shoes really last a long time.
