Crap employees will flag your account for no good reason and cant even tell you why it was flagged when it happened in 2024 and you just find out when you visit the sister store at North Park. Disgusting excuse for a company and employees. Have no desire to ever do business with them again. If you were smart you wouldnt either. Avoid at all cost.

The energy in this store was really off. The girls working here seemed completely miserable. I get it—working retail isn’t anyone’s dream job and not all of us can be TikTok stars—but come on, customer service matters! I wasn’t greeted, offered help, or even asked if I needed a dressing room. Maybe they assumed I had a third arm to juggle everything myself—who knows.
The vibe was so negative I ended up leaving. I agree with others that the North Star location is way better. This one seems to take just about anything and then overprice it (I’ve actually seen items marked higher than their original tag).
To be fair, the workers were polite enough once approached, so I might give it another shot—but honestly, customer service makes or breaks it.
Oh, and a heads-up: don’t come in for the “50% off everything” sale. Most of the summer items are still full price.

My son just touched a necklace and it fell apart because it was on a thin string and they made me pay for it after spending quite a bit there already which I think is ridiculous and has never happened to me before, most companies wouldn’t even bat and eye, we all saw that video of the bakery that made the mom pay for the table and how that turned out for that business. I will be calling to their higher up’s to complain.

I keep trying to love this location but I’m often disappointed. The staff is definitely not very friendly. I will take a bag of items, good brands some brand new and they won’t take them. I take the same bag to Park North and they take everything. That staff is much friendlier too.

Walked in to pick up our clothes for resale yesterday and a sales associate ( wearing glasses) rudely reminded us that they were closing in 9 minutes. I wasn’t there to shop , I was there to pick up. Waited at the counter and was again rudely told I was at the wrong register… Not only was she rude to me , but she also slams on a bell to call her coworker to come to the register in frustration. Not a customer friendly employee. Watch out !

Clothes Mentor steals your clothing at the intake. This has happened to me 2 times now. I could not figure it out the first time, but the 2nd time I did. Their intake process is that you leave your items with them, and then they call you back. By the way, both times, they offered me less than 10 cents on the dollar of the items they chose, all were brand new. Take count of your inventory, take pictures of it, count your pieces on leaving them off, and take time when getting them back. They absolutely lie about how they price items. I noticed that they do mark up things very high compared to what they offer to pay you. Very sad, and I caught them the 2nd time because the weight that I had on the items did not match when I got home. Their process is to reject some of your things, keep items you brought that they took in the downtime, then offer you almost nothing for what they choose. My guess is they put it in a different branch, so you don't find your own things marked way up, but I am not sure. I left both times saying no. I would not shop there because I know they have ripped off every single person that filled their stores. It's a very well-rehearsed process and the truth is they are not honest. I would rather give things to the poor, than let the store rip off the very people that it looks right in the eyes and knowingly takes your items without compensating you one penny for them. If they do this method per person, every day, that is a lot of inventory. My advice is to count your items, take pictures, and count your return items before you leave the store. They try to make it so that you are not comfortable or have space to check your return items, and I'm sure that is by design. An honest business would leave you a counter space to check your takeback items right there. And go over them with you, to be sure. The method they use is deceitful by design. What a horrible business.

The young ladies that run this store keep it neat and clean. Clothes are always in order, etc. They really have some nice things - even nice pieces of jewelry! Love their selection of handbags and shoes. And the ladies actually will help you with your clothes! That's rare in this city! Added bonus - All items are sold at a tremendous discount! Love this place.

Excellent prices. Haven't been to this store in awhile and regret it. They have a lot to choose from and everything is in excellent condition. Loved my experience.

I really love these stores to find unique items you won’t find in other department stores. However, staff is never friendly.. I can never even tell which persons in the store are staff as they never greet, help, or even acknowledge you. Really ruins the experience.

You can sell seasonal clothes, they pay you in cash in a 24-hour deferred period. You also get things in very good condition, from recognized brands and at a good price.
