Dr. Uzowulu Is very friendly, respectful, empathetic and knowledgeable. He put my son at ease just by engaging with him and listening to his concerns. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The wait time to see Dr. Uzowulu was less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend him.

Doctor Uzowulu has been my PCP for years. He is thorough and professional, as is his staff. He does not sugar coat things which is what physicians should do.

10/10 would not recommend this doctor. Doesn’t fill out prior authorizations, but will happily refer you out. Will not respond to records requests. Not to mention the incompetence of both Obinna and his staff. I can list multiple reasons of where they failed me as a patient. I was misdiagnosed, and overlooked other serious health issues for months. Also, in a pinch a year ago, I was very ill and they told me they would work me in if I came to their office. Upon arriving, signing in, waiting an hour, I ask will I be seen soon? Their response, is maybe. “You could be waiting hours.” Then why waste my time and yours? I’d like my money back for the expensive tests for what he “thinks” my problem would have been.

Please ladies and gentlemen if this doctor tells you to sign up for the weight loss program please do not sign it. It is a scam. They make you sign the paper for weight loss program and it is not a program it’s basically the doctor charging you extra money for a prescription for a weight loss injection. Please know that there’s an FDA approve injection (Mounjaro) for weight loss (for obese patients) and it can be prescribe by your primary physician without the need for you to pay additional money for a supposedly “weight loss program”. Please don’t fall for this non-sense and safe your money. They got me two times with this weight loss program paper to sign (seeing the desperation for some of us that struggle with weight loss). The second time they charge me more (1st time $180 second time $190) and send me to a weird pharmacy who deals with no health insurance (since by that time Mounjaro was not approve for obesity yet) and only accepts credit cards or cash at Austin, TX. My third visit was suppose to be today February 08, 2024; the secretary tells me that now the “weight loss program” (which consist of the doctor charging you for the prescription of the injection) is $225 now. Please I REPEAT DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. I am a nurse (RN-MSN) and I know for a fact that multiple primary care doctor prescribe this injections without the need to charge you extra for it or come up with a weird “weight loss program” so they can charge you extra money. I thought I could trust this doctor but sorry my dignity is worth more and so is yours.

The staff and the nurses at this practice are so helpful. They do not take shortcuts and run every option to ground. I really appreciated being listened to and taken seriously with the symptoms I presented. They were able to find a source of my symptoms just by running a few simple tests.

Went from working with this provider to becoming a patient. Dr. Uzuwulu has a great bedside manner, and at the same time will tell you what you need to hear to better your health. Rosa, MA is an amazing person to work with Dr. Uzuwulu as they both work so well together. Thank you for caring for me and my health. I'm excited to bring my family to establish care. Thank you!

I originally booked this appointment as a wellness checkup on November 13th, but unfortunately things took a turn for the worse with my health November 6th. I had two hospital visits and an urgent care visit at this point and was not doing well. I already felt bad going into my first appointment with this doctor because I was about to drop a lot of problems into his lap and it was my first time meeting him. I informed the front desk before they even took me back that it was no longer a wellness check. I then informed the nurse who took me back and had an entire list for them with dates, medications, and problems. I also had a timeline of events trying to be as organized as possible to try and not be so much of a burden to them. When I went into the room to wait for the doctor, I heard the exchange between the doctor and nurse in the hallway. She expressed to him that there was a whole lot of things going on and I heard him say very rudely “So what does she want us to do for her?” Then he skipped my room and continued with other patients before coming in. When he came in I started crying because I was so anxious, I hadn’t been eating for several days at this point, I was also extremely dizzy. He seemed comforting at that point which point my mind to ease and set me up with the tests he thought I needed and put me on a medication. That night I just began to decline even more. I had spasms so bad in my throat that I could hardly talk. I kept messaging with the doctor via portal because they told me that was the way to communicate any of my concerns. They called me and I had to have my husband speak at this point because I was unable to without significant pain. Rosa spoke with my husband and I could hear the doctor speaking over top of her in the background and was being extremely rude. I heard him say “the patient needs to speak for herself” again very rudely so I jumped on the phone highly upset and said that if my husband needed to speak for me because I’m in such severe pain then he will do what I need him to do. I also felt really bad for Rosa with the doctor basically micro managing and speaking over top of her. He asked me again what I needed him To do and told me to call Dr Sharma as if he was washing his hands clean. Thankfully I was able to find a different GI who saw me extremely quickly after that and I was then admitted to a hospital who gave me the care I needed as I was in bad shape. I’ve since found a new primary care doctor who is helping me. I’m still trying to get better, but this doctor was not a good fit for me. I’m pleased to see others have a good experience as he came very highly recommended but I feel like I would have been a bit better sooner if he had prioritized me and had not made me feel like such a burden.
