Everything was a smooth process, we had got the unit and had some questions and the guy at the front was not very nice. Would have gave 5 stars because the process was so easy but the person at the front completely the whole mood.

Easy access to my storage room and tight security. It's also close by to UTSA which is the perfect spot. Been storing my stuff here for a while now and never had any problems. One of the best storage places I used.

If I could rate the experience I had zero stars, I would. I reserved a unit online and went into the office in-person, just like the person I spoke to and the email received said I could do (literally says "complete online or in-person), to complete the process. I was greeted by the most unhelpful, useless, and passive aggressive employee I've ever met. He was middle aged with a grayish-white goatee. I told him that, in following the advice of the lady I spoke with, I was there to complete my agreement for the unit. From that point on, he scoffed at me, and the only words to come out of his mouth ever again were "it's online". He pretended to look up my reservation, only to reply, once again with "it's online". When I asked how I would get access to the unit after completing the process online, he said "it tells you that online". I'm not sure what the purpose of the employee was, but it sure wasn't to gain new business and likely won't help retain existing business. To be unwilling to answer any questions at all is beyond unacceptable. For that interaction alone, I will not be signing up for anything with CubeSmart, now or in the future.

The space we rented was clean with digital access which my UTSA Roadrunner found awesome. No keys to loose or locks to buy.
The staff was extremely helpful and we are so grateful.

If I could give it no stars I would. Terrible place. Storage unit got broken into and none of the management reached out to notify me. Management did nothing to help when they realized it had been broken into. Reached out to corporate and they also did not bother replying to my calls or emails. I will not be recommending this place to any family, friends or military service members.

This is been a mess from the beginning. When I rented the Cube I was told I would not be charged any rental fees until my move-in date. This turned out not to be true so I ended up paying for two weeks of a rental that I did not need. I was also told that I would not be charged for the insurance when I provided proof if homeowners insurance. This was also not true. But the real kicker is this: The day before my move-in, I called to confirm that my storage cube was available and good to go. I was assured that we were all set. When I arrived with my belongings, there was no key for my unit. Management finally broke into the unit, only to find it was being occupied by washers and dryers. The management has no idea how those washers and dryers got there or to whom belonged. The unit I rented was 10 x 25. There were no other cubes that size available so I was forced to accept a smaller cube that actually cost more. Then, because the smaller unit was not large enough for my items, I had to rent an additional unit for which I was also charged (Even though I was originally told that the second unit would be free of charge). I am completely dissatisfied with my experience with Cube Smart. At the very least the second Cube I had to rent should have been given to me for free and the smaller Cube should’ve been given to me at the price of my original larger cube. Had I not had movers with a truck full of belongings waiting to be unloaded and stored, I would have found a different storage unit altogether at a different location with a different company. I was definitely taking advantage of because I was in a bind and I am extremely dissatisfied with how this entire process played out.

Had stuff stolen from this location, don’t leave it here as they didn’t even contact me that my storage unit was broken into. The authorities did hours later.

My brother’s storage unit was drilled into and had his stuff stolen. Whoever drilled into it installed their own lock. How does this even happen? Terrible location to leave your belongings. Better off leaving it with a friend or family member than here.
