Moved to the area three years ago. No issues for the first 2.5 years. New pharmacist, and every time she is working the experience is horrible. Terrible attitude, talks poorly about doctors and patients, and is extremely rude. Really disappointing as the prior pharmacist was caring, compassionate, and generally friendly.

This CVS is along the interstate but has a small town feel with how cheerful the people and interior surroundings are organized. There is more of a bright and colorful store feeling with
useful products than that of a gloomy lit and depressing pharmacy where l am supposed to go for a prescription eyedrop medication. Many CVS stores like other pharmacies have annoying signs that push vaccines. This CVS address feels like wellness not illness is recognized.

Horrible CVS with nothing ever in stock of what little they have and triple the price!! Just bc you’re in this area doesn’t mean price gouge everything.

Zero stars if I could! Waiting 25 mins at the pharmacy drive through. Among other issues.

I would not wish the experience my son and I had at this CVS on anyone. The pharmacy staff was dismissive, unhelpful, and showed zero compassion. My child’s prescription was sent from the ER due to pain and inflammation, yet the employees acted as if they couldn’t care less.
From the moment we walked in, we were ignored—no greeting, no acknowledgment—just treated like a number. When I provided our information, I was met with a rude, abrupt response: “We do not have that medication, and no CVS in San Antonio does. Sorry.” When I asked what could be done, the pharmacist simply shrugged and pointed us to H-E-B without offering any real assistance.
Thankfully, the H-E-B Boerne Stage Road pharmacy was the complete opposite—professional, proactive, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond, even calling this CVS repeatedly to obtain necessary information.
It’s unacceptable for healthcare workers to treat people this way, especially when they’re already vulnerable. If you’re in the Dominion area, do yourself a favor and take your prescriptions to H-E-B—they actually care.

Detailed review below but the bottom line is that they LIED about having my toddler’s antibiotics in stock. My daughter was spiking high fevers and not eating and the pharmacy told me that they’d have to order her antibiotics as they were out. I called the doctor who said that was ridiculous and she was sure they had them in stock. I went back in and after 30 minutes of arguing with the pharmacist and his staff, he begrudgingly filled the prescription. He had the antibiotics in stock but for some reason decided my daughter, who was 5 and has been hospitalized in similar situations in the past, could wait “a few days” for them to come in via mail.
The entire staff glared at me and rolled their eyes and the pharmacist’s best answer as to why he lied was some mumblings about “corporate policy.”
Apparently corporate policy is “deny and delay.” If I hadn’t pressed harder my daughter at best would have suffered with 103 degree fevers and vomitting for several days and at worst ended up back in the hospital for a week with an IV and a $10k bill (again).
The CVS itself is clean and reasonably well stocked. Staff is friendly and attentive. We have gotten vaccines done here as well as they’re just fine.
The Pharmacy staff seems to have an awful culture (see above). Even prior to the above event I’ve waited in line while a tech called over another tech so they could both listen and laugh at a customer on the phone…while there was a line for drop offs and pickups. I have stood waiting and have been ignored to the point where I just gave up and left. They range from rude to indifferent and the actual pharmacist doesn’t seem to care (although they will actually help you if after long enough they realize their staff won’t.”

I would give zero stars if I could. The week before I picked up my refill, I called the pharmacy because I didn't have enough funds on my HSA card and wanted to make sure I could charge the balance remaining with my debit card. I explained the situation in the drive thru and they charged the full amount on my debit card ($835) and they didn't even give me a receipt for reimbursement. I went back through the drive thru 2 minutes later when I noticed the charge and was told to go inside so they could help me. I went inside and the tech refunded the amount to my debit but could not figure out how to charge my HSA card. A female tech came and said I probably didn't have enough money on my card and I informed her that's why I had called earlier in the week and was told I could pay the balance with my debit. She asked if I called the store or the pharmacy. I told her I spoke to someone in the pharmacy and she actually asked me when I had called as if I was lying about making the call. The poor male tech could not get my HSA card to work and the pharmacist did nothing to try to help him. She saw him struggling with the transaction and did not intervene. I ended up telling him just to charge the full amount on my debit but he tried so many times that my bank froze my card. In the end, I have over $1700 in pending charges on my debit card and it will take several days for a refund. I called the store to get the name of the pharmacy techs to lodge a complaint and they said they were too busy and couldn't help me. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will be changing pharmacies and reporting them.

Horrible service and girl in the pharmacy such an attitude. Prescription called in at 8:30 am and it’s 4:30om and still not ready and all we got was excuses. I worked many years as a technician counting pills by hand before they had the counters and never turned away a customer.

We go to this pharmacy all the time and swing by to pick up random grocery items and medicine regularly. Everyone is always friendly and helpful and they always have what we need in stock.

Probably the most useless company ever. Phone line to talk to someone is literally non existent. Will not let you talk to someone in store. Please shut your spree down you good for nothing wastes.

I love this CVS location, I used to go to the one off of 1604 by UTSA. Even though they are both CVS stores, there is no comparison, apples and oranges here. My prescriptions get immediately filled. There is no waiting in line. Quick, easy, simplicity at its finest! Extremely satisfied doing business at this CVS location!?

Highly recommend you pick another pharmacy. And check your bag to make sure you have all the correct prescriptions before you leave. The pharmacist himself seemed helpful and knowledgeable once he finally got involved, but the pharm tech who filled my prescriptions was HORRIBLE. I was picking up 4 prescriptions for an upcoming surgery. She charged me for 4 and only gave me 2. I had left before I realized so returned within 5 minutes and went through the drive through. She was absolutely beyond rude and condescending saying over and over she gave me my meds. I asked her to check the counter behind her because she did not. She then said come inside and we’ll pull up the camera footage to prove it, I said get it ready because I’m coming in. The pharmacist then met me at the counter where he found 2 prescriptions she had forgotten to put in the bag. She had also told me how to mix one of them incorrectly, AND never told me one of them had to be refrigerated. She’s inept at her job and extremely rude. Our insurance made us switch here but I’ll be going back to HEB, their entire staff is very kind and helpful, unlike here.

Had a great experience with Nurse Practitioner Marykutty Prasad. She was very professional, knowledgeable, patient and kind. I did not have to wait for my appointment at all, was seen right on time. Highly recommend.

Closes before posted hours, literally never answers the phone.
My Dr. called in a prescription, she had forgotten but it was important, so it was like 2 hours before (7pm) closing time (9pm) at the pharmacy. I kept calling but could only get repeating messages about downloading the app then voicemail. As closing time approached I thought I should try the main CVS number since I simply could not get through, so they transferred me to the pharmacist who hung up on me before I could say anything. I called the main CVS number again asking what happened and they said "they closed early, sorry".

I had an appointment at the MinuteClinic at 920. No one said hello. I asked the cashier, and they said it didn’t open until 10. Very unprofessional.
