Was visiting San Antonio; my JUST installed that morning Libre3 wouldn’t work at all to track my levels. I called Libre helpline and they provided me with an emergency prescription for a new one. The pharmacist would not honor it after BRIEFLY(very briefly ) perusing the paperwork saying that I needed a prescription from MY PHARMACY. I explained that we were from out of town (Houston) and that my LIBRE devices were MAILED to me from a pharmacy somewhere (couldn’t recall the location!) AND that the paperwork that I provided to him was EMAILED to me about 30 minutes ago from the HELPLINE for an EMERGENCY DEVICE. The pharmacist did not review the paperwork.m and still insisted that I needed a prescription!
I was upset but just said “thank you”. (I didn’t mean it though😏!) and didn’t think to get his card until I was back at the hotel.
The CVS is near:

We were visiting from out of town and needed an and emergency prescription for our son. Nina was extremely understanding of our situation and filled it for us right away! I’m very thankful for the service we received at this location.

I don’t understand why people who are literally being paid to help others, are often in such bad moods and are so unfriendly. Case in point, a woman named Nina Soza at this location who cannot be bothered by simple questions that, unless you work in a pharmacy, a person would not otherwise know. I recommend she have a little more heart when treating customers. You never know what ailments they or their children are going through, or their financial situation, and to be rude or seemed bothered helps no one. Find some patience/empathy or find a job you don’t seem to hate 🤷🏻♀️

I’m writing this review as a very concerned parent. I recently went to drop off my child’s prescription and was told it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. So I waited for it at the pharmacy. The tech that helped me was friendly and I have nothing bad to say about her. But the pharmacist seemed to be a little rushed and short with me. I understand that pharmacist have a very demanding job so I didn’t care much for his attitude. I shook that off for the most part until he told me to give my child one full tablet of this medication. I said okay and left. I knew what he said was incorrect but I wanted to go home and check my discharge paperwork before questioning the pharmacy. I went home and saw that the pharmacy put the wrong instructions and the pharmacist did not catch that. My child is one. The pharmacy should have called the doctor to clarify instructions as it is only prescribed in 4 times the amount that was ordered for my child.
I have knowledge of this medication and I’m in the medical field, which is why I caught this error. I know the correct dosage and I’m able to safely give my child the medication. But there are parents and patients that do not have my knowledge and would have mistakenly given their child what the pharmacy said to give. This medication may not be extremely dangerous in this quantity for my small child but still should not be taken that much. It’s FOUR TIMES the amount that was ordered for a one year old.
I have called and spoken to a pharmacist that did admit that the prescription needed clarification and that the doctor’s office should have been contacted. I’m concerned for other patients that go there and if they are getting correct medication/instructions. I hope in the future this does not happen to any one else.

Lisa C is the definition of not giving a **** about her job. Just because your day is bad doesn't mean to push it on others. My bad for asking a question about where an item was HOW DARE I ! IF She is the manager who is hiring these people ? Is it about the pay check ? Walgreens from now on ! Goodbye cvs!
