I attempted to refill my prescription a week before Christmas, but I was told it had been filled on September 23rd, so I needed to wait until December 23rd. When I tried to pick it up on December 21st, they said it was too early, so I returned on December 23rd, only to be told my prescription was out of stock.
They transferred my prescription to the USAA pharmacy on Fredericksburg Road, but since it's restricted to USAA members, I couldn't enter. I had to drive back to the Austin Highway location because none of the stores answer their phones—you have to leave a message, and they never call back because there’s usually only one person working.
From there, my prescription was transferred to the CVS in Alamo Ranch, over 25 miles away. Before driving there, I tried calling to confirm if my prescription would be ready, but no one answered. I drove the 25 miles, only to discover they were also out of stock.
Now, I’m left without my prescription. This was a terrible experience with CVS. They refused to refill my prescription before the holidays, forcing me to cancel my trip because I was assured my medication would be ready on December 23rd. I rate this store zero stars and will be switching to HEB or Walmart, which have better hours and superior service.

This Pharmacy has improved 100%. The Pharmacist Micah is the most polite, empathic, professional, and goes the extra mile. And I was thinking of switching to Walmart Pharmacy before Micah. But Micah change my mind without him knowing. And now I'm most definitely staying. I have trust my prescriptions are in good hands. Location CVS Pharmacy within Target at 1223 Austin Highway in San Antonio, Texas.

Blah blah blah..I was not impressed at all with the customer service it honestly sucked .. I walk in door and the guy behind counter says with attitude "can I help you" I say yes I'm looking for hair clippers to shave my head.. he points down the isle I'm standing infront says loon there right there.. so I go look at there small selection and they are all beard trimmers..I left and will probably not go back as long as the rude guy is working rhere..I should have asked him his name but I dint want to waist my valuable breath..

Carol has been one of the most kind, considerate, professional & helpful pharmacist I've ever known. Actually, everyone that has helped me in addition to her has been quite kind & helpful but she is extremely so. Thank you CVS for having such wonderful employees!

Completely unsatisfied with the pharmacy at this location. I came in, obviously sick and needed meds, the pharmacist began complaining about how she is the only one there today. I’m a very patient person and listened to her unprofessional complaints. Then she proceeded to ask me if I would need the medication today. It’s 10 in the morning, so my obvious answer was “yes”. She rolled her eyes and stopped what she was doing. She dramatically took her time to walk over to the other side of the counter to me and briefly looked at my prescriptions and said “we are out”. I don’t believe her for one moment after she acted the way she did. Do not waste your time going to this pharmacy

This used to be a great pharmacy but the current pharmacist and assistant are frustrating and anything but helpful. I get a text that my rx is ready for pickup. I arrive & wait in line to be told I need to give them 15 minutes. I come back in 15 minutes, stand in line again and rx is still not ready!

This pharmacy has the BEST customer service around. Trish, the pharmacist is so sweet and accommodation and GREAT at her job! She remembers me by name, tries to find the best prices and cares about her clients. The others that work there, although I don't know any of their names are also very nice, respectful and helpful. I have a CVS that is on the street I live on but I drive 15-20 min to this one for the customer service.

This is the best pharmacy (specifically the CVS inside the Target, not CVS in general) I’ve ever interacted with. Amazing customer service and super helpful. I’ve used them for a while now and have only ever had excellent service. It’s even far out of my way but it’s worth the drive. Clean and fast, too.
