PSA, be very careful buying sports team t-shirts from here. I bought two different Spurs shirts and the print on both were ridiculously crooked. Quality control is obviously lacking. There are flea market shirts that are printed better and for way less.

KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS! or better yet, buy your stuff on Amazon. Bought $100 of apparel (shirt, hat, skirt) a week ago. Didn‘t keep receipt and brought product back with tags still on everything. Cashier said “Dick’s only gives the LOWEST markdown price for items returned without a receipt” want to guess what I was offered? $10 for all of it! I won’t lie, I told the cashier to just keep it and walked out. Enjoy the free sales when you sell those items again, Dick’s. Last time I shop here. Amazon takes all returns at full retail, no questions asked. They have my business.

I am a Scorecard holder, and I of course want to get a pair of sneakers from Dick’s whenever I can. The minute I saw the announcement online and the store nearest to me was getting them, I called to see if I could reserve a pair. At first they didn’t know when they’d get them (stock), so I kept on calling everyday this week. The J12 Cherries brought nostalgia, and I knew I had to have them again. Finally, yesterday, Friday, the 27th, I called and was told they had my size and had to go in-store to show my ID to reserve my size for pickup the next day. I was at work and had to ask for an early lunch to do this. At the store, I asked for the pair and gave my size, 9.5. A gentleman took my ID and went to the back, an employee only area. He came out with what looked like a list of reservations, and gave me back my ID and told me that I could come back to pickup my pair the next day, Saturday the 28th between 9am-12pm. I repeated the time he gave (9am-12pm) just to be sure, and he said yes. Earlier, around 11am I came back to pickup my reservation and was suddenly told that they just sold the 9.5 and was being offered a size 9 or 10. I was caught by surprise as I had a reservation and I explained this to a gentleman who went back inside and came out with a woman who I think was his senior, and she repeated what the gentleman just told me. I again explained what I had to go through to get this pair and was now being told the pickup was only until 10:30am. The lady called someone else on the radio and I was approached to ask what I needed. I again was surprised and already upset about the situation and that he wasn’t already informed why he was asked to speak with me. I repeated the issue and Jose again informed me that they just sold the size I wanted and that there was nothing he could do, but offer another size. This was unacceptable to me, and I asked for a manager. He told me he was a manager and I asked for a manager higher than him. He said there wasn’t any. Everybody would know this isn’t true so I asked for an area manager then, the person that handles Dick’s San Antonio. Jose again said he doesn’t know and all he could give me was the customer service number. I was in disbelief that someone with no customer service skills at all and/or no knowledge at product and company policies would be put in a managerial position. I asked if the person who told me it was until 12 noon was in today, and was told he wasn’t. I asked Jose for the name, if it indeed was Troy, and again he said he couldn’t say. This manager, Jose did not apologize even once for the apparently wrong information his staff gave causing huge inconvenience to a loyal customer. All he said was there was nothing he could do and there was no other manager to talk to. Then finally he mentioned a Rebecca who was the store manager who wasn’t available (after him saying there wasn’t anyone else). This feedback is in detail because I want the area that receives feedback to understand what happened and what the issue really is. I spent my whole life in customer service and someone like Jose should’t be put in a customer facing service position, much less a manager. There was no apology/empathy, or trying to resolve the issue.

My son convinced me to come here for the first time. I am an academy girl and always have been. I loved the shopping experience until I got to the register. This girl was not welcoming. Rude and just shoved my clothes items in the bag without folding. I asked if they fold and she said no. Not paying attention she missed bagging my slides. I then asked for them. She handed to me on counter at which point I asked if she can bag them. I work really hard for my money and to be finishing a great shopping experience with a rude girl at register was horrible. She needs to do better with customers articles as though it was for her. Store clothing options 5stars. Register experience no stars. I don’t know the employee’s name, but she went out of her way with customer service when I went in to buy some cleats. I know I was probably annoying, but I appreciated the customer service and how they went out of their way to help and point out the problem with the cleats I was buying. 10/10 customer experience

I would like to recognizeTAMYRA on her great customer service instead of directing me to customer support she offered to help me out with my return/exchange the item I was returning was on sale she was able to honor the exchange with no extra charge she was very friendly and a can do attitudeI will definitely come back just bc of herKeep up the great work

Staff are friendly. You often have to hunt all over the store to compare similar items that are in different sections. They can be pricy on shoes and clothing so do your homework before shopping.

This place is really nice! Especially their customer service! Everyone is kind of waiting there to help you. Went to buy shoes. Tried a couple of them and finally got one. They will bring out the shoes for you from inside. You can either use the kiosk they have in there or ask an employee about the one you want to try. Their behavior is really nice! Would recommend going there! They have a nice collection of variety of shoes.

I went to Dick’s Sporting Goods at The Rim to buy running shirts and shorts. I ask one of the employees in a green shirt for help and she said someone would help me. No one responded to assist me. I went to both floors and all of the employees in green shirts were on their cell phones. I won’t be returning to this store.

Salespeople in the soccer section are rude and unhelpful. They really make it obvious that asking them anything is taking up their time and bothersome - except for Mario. He came from a section over and was kind. When I asked about toddler shoe sizing, I was told they didn’t carry those sizes at all in the entire store but then I found 6 pairs on my own. It’s very unpleasant to try to shop and figure out sizes when the salesmen around you display negative body language and keep checking only to see if your party has left yet. We spent $300 in store outfitting 4 kids. However, they interfered with our family shopping experience because of the ugly looks and i finished our purchases online instead.

DICK’S IS INVOLVED IN INSIDER SALES!!!The store manager Jose G. was rude, unethical and unprofessional. Today March 11,2023 around 9:50AM I arrived at the store located at The Rim in La Cantera in San Antonio TX. I wanted to buy a pair of the new Jordan 3 Retro that were released at 10AM. I asked an associate I wanted to buy a pair and he told me I had to wait until 10:30 AM because I didn’t have a reservation and those had priority. I asked the associate I wanted to make a reservation and I was told there weren’t any available because it was already passed the cut off time. I was instructed to wait until 10:30AM to buy my sneakers and that they would sell them to me if they still had them. At 10:30AM they started selling the sneakers. I was the third person in line. The first guy didn’t buy his because they didn’t have them in his size. The second in line got his, then someone suddenly walked in and went up directly to speak to the manager Jose G, who was the person selling us the sneakers. Without hesitation Jose G. looked at the person who had just walked in and nodded his head at him. He immediately turn to me and told me he didn’t have my shoe size 10.5 available because the person whom just walked in had a reservation and he had ordered a 10.5 size.The fact that the person who had just walked in went up directly to Jose G and not the main register to pick up his order makes me believe Jose G is involved in unethical practices and insider sales and he knew the guy and gave him preference instead of me who had been waiting at the store and in line for over 30 minutes.It was already passed 10:30AM and I was entitled to buy my sneakers. Based on the rules stated in your website: not all sneakers will use the draw process. (This was the case) Some will still be available for purchase on a first come, first serve basis at time of launch.The person whom Jose G decided to sell the shoes arrived at the store already passed 10:30AM therefore by default I was supposed to be given priority over him because I was already in line ahead of him inside the store.This purchase was supposed to be a gift for my nephew’s birthday so thanks for ruin it DICK’S especially the manager Jose G. Shame on you.

Generally good sporting goods merchandise. A bit pricey without any discount or sale. Big disappointment in they're not having a military discount. Especially in San Antonio. This would not be my first choice for sporting goods in this area.
