Trashiest store I’ve ever been to in my entire life. It’s old and musty, really dirty, the shopping center it’s in is a complete dump, and the shelves are always empty. I came here for 6 simple household staples and they had zero (yes, zero). I haven’t been back in months and will never go back again. Also - look at the other reviews! Who needs terrible service like that in their life when there are so many other options out there?! I’ve never seen the so-called manager but the other people who work here are all pretty miserable. Go to HEB or Family Dollar. Cutting stores like this out of my life was the best thing I ever did. Let these people die in their own incompetence and misery.

Not a fan of this store. Mostly because the female older manager is rude and very harsh with customers. Also the store is so cluttered and messy.

I walked into the store and witnessed the cashier (April) yell, harass, belittle, degrade, disrespect and tell a customer to “shut up”.
She falsely accused him of shoplifting and when he spoke up to say he felt uncomfortable with her unprofessionalism and felt humiliated for the slander she got defensive and said “get out of my store” and proclaimed people are not allowed to “simply shop” and it was a policy to “purchase items or leave”. While he had about $50-60 worth of items he was purchasing (detergent, toilet paper, cereal, soda) she continued to yell across the store saying she knows shoplifters because her daughter shoplifts regularly. She said she was not discriminating against his skin color because her husband is African American.
Never once did she apologize but continued yelling at him. This type of customer service was unacceptable, unnecessary, embarrassing and very petty. This is not the first time I have seen her verbally attack and stereotype the customers walking in.

This store is a bit chaotic and crowded but its saving grace is the staff. The workers there are always super friendly and helpful whenever I go there.

I never leave bad reviews. I prefer to just avoid places where I’ve had negative experiences but this is the second time I’ve been publicly embarrassed by the female manager. I’ve owned a home near this store since 2016 and I love my community. It’s unfortunate I’m uncomfortable entering my local Dollar General now. I am heavily tattooed and am aware of the preconceived notions that that choice can give people. I usually try to meet these presumptions with grace and act as an advocate for those that look like me.
I have to draw a line here because it’s disheartening that I had finally had gathered enough nerve to return to this store for the first time in months after the last practically identical incident.
Firstly the female manager literally chased me into the store and shouted at me to leave my bag at front (something I have no problem with as it is a backpack style purse and I know certain stores have policy on them). I brushed it off, politely complied and proceeded to get what I came to Dollar General for, detergent,
located at the back of the store.
Then she loudly announced to someone (at her volume EVERYONE) that she “had to make sure that girl doesn’t run out on her again” while blocking the doors. I looked over confused about the commotion only to be met with this woman proceeding to yell at me “yeah I’m watching YOU”.
I’ve never been so embarrassed in a store full of people TWICE. I’ve never stolen a thing from that store nor any other. I don’t know who this manager has me confused for, but no one deserves to be treated that way just for how they look.

If I could give zero Stars I would this store and it's employees are very disrespectful and rude my daughter has a service animal and it was explained multiple times that we're just getting something real quick and this is a service animal and we still got kicked out and humiliated and my daughter wasn't understanding why we were getting kicked out when she needs her support animal shame on you Dollar general. And the fact that as soon as we were walking out the door the manager on shift was talking badly about us to another customer. Disgusting store disgusting individuals disgusting company

April, an Daniel are great, and are always helpful,,if u need a item they help u get it those two in my mind are the reason that store keeps going because that area were the store is is not the best

Just bought these today, from the front counter. And felt like they tasted a little funny. 6months expired!! I know you guys keep inventory because there are boxes in every aisle! So you guys should know what’s past it’s due date and take them off the shelves. This is disgusting.

They are supposed to open at 8am it is now 8:40 and still not opened. Needs better management and to be more clean rude people answering phones if you don't like your job quit. No sense!

They never restock. You can barely walk around because there are just towers of unopened big grey stocking boxes on dollies blocking every aisle.

Came in for some small things. Area was clean. Parking lot was big and spacious. Don't know about the restrooms; doubt they had any. Ran into an old associate there. They seem to like working there; with that kind of atmosphere I don't blame on them enjoying the job. Location might be isolated but has useful home items. Had a good experience.?...
