Just got chased down inside this dollar general by an employee I didn’t even realize him till I turned around and he’s gesturing to me to take off my headphones, and tells me my bag has to stay upfront, like? Dollar general does not have this in they’re policy what’s so ever and it’s south side like hell if I’m taking my bag off to be indicated upfront where anyone can just grab it. Hopefully Alex the manager will explain that dollar general already got fined for this type of discrimination in Tampa Florida. And the hotline has been notified of this.

Seriously! I've shown up at 8:45pm and the doors are locked. This last visit an employee walked up to my wife at 8:50pm and told her if she could make her eat to the front please. The store closes at 9:00pm not 8:45 or 8:50pm I understand they want to get home but they will literally lock the doors early and try to kick us out 10 mins early.

I understand the need for theft prevention. Trust me... I get it. However, if your mission is to hover awkwardly near me while fixing the same chip bag at the endcap... while I try to shop... maybe ask me if there is anything I need help finding or perhaps a "How are you?". That would have eased the discomfort, and maybe I could have shopped more. Anything is better than silence, and then also feeling like you're watching me because you think I might shoplift... which, by the way: actually entices those of us who don't intend to shoplift to shoplift in our glorious effort to make your assumptions true.
There were two of you.
There was no "celebrity" greeting at the door. Yet I thought I was a celebrity with all the intense focus placed on me.

I'm very happy with All the stores located in Lytle Texas, They are all clean and the people there are courteous and helpful.and the same goes for all employees to all stores and shops in Lytle Texas.

Okay I literally Love this place the employees try so hard to manage this place but it's the customers that are so rude and inconsiderate. Yes they close early but only because of how much of a bad area it is they literally ran off so many people stealing & homeless people loitering. The employees try so hard but with the area they have no chance I feel sorry for them and even sorry for myself as a customer. If more people were considerate then maybe this place wouldn't be so bad.

I went in here to use my Gift card my ex coworker gave me when I used to work at DG. It was a thank you giftcard. The employee who was scanning the items with my transaction looked like she didn't know what she was doing. She tried scanning my gift card like it was a transaction item, as if I was gonna purchase it. I looked to see how she was doing it by looking at her screen. No actual effort towards asking her coworker for help at all. I would give it 0 star experience if I could. I got annoyed, since she already had a line and just ended up having to use my debit card. It looked like she didn't want me to use my giftcard since she already knew how to help my purchase once I said to forget it and I'd use my debit card. ? No helpful or patient employees at all. 0/0
