Arrived at 9:55 to grab dog food so I wouldn’t have to drive all the way to Walmart, well the store was locked with Employee still inside. Very Unprofessional

The manager boxes up anything that is going to go on 70% or 90% off and ships it off back. Her clearance section only has about 30 items. And they're always the same thing. They've been the same for the last five months. I went to go look to see what kind of Dolly Parton items. They would have for 90% off yesterday. And one of the employees told me that I missed that sale that everything has already been shippetobacco, but the 90% sale doesn't even start till tomorrow. She doesn't even start till tomorrow. She does this all the time.I refuse to walk in that store ever again

I stopped by the dollar general just now.One lady and a man was standing there she saw me am walking to the door after I found out it is closed. She told me it is not going open till 9:00am the way she responded was very disrespectful. What I saw online was open.Any ways teach your customers how to talk to customers.

The shopping experience here was ok. The cashier was nice and professional. Came to pick up some tissue paper, was able to get in and out. This place is never packed. This is a really small store.

I went to this store yesterday to grab an item. I saw they had bags of Oreo popcorn mid size on the shelf 2 rows priced at $1, excited to try them I grabbed 3 bags. Once at the register the cashier (Rachel) rang them up in which they were ringing at $3 each. When i mentioned how they were priced at $1, she became argumentative and rude. I asked her to walk with me so I could show her the pricing. Once we proceeded to the racks, and saw their error, she became more rude. I asked for the mgr in which she snapped at me saying she’s gone for the night. Her argument was they are not $1, but $3. We’re talking about 2 full racks of these bags, not just a few. There was no accountability for their error, nor did she remove them or correct the price while I was there. I took a picture to upload with the survey attached to my receipt. I was so disappointed in the level of service considering I shop here very often. Needless to say I left the popcorn and walked out. I will drive the extra mile moving forward to the closet HEB. I could have accepted her apologizing for their error and correcting it. But to respond so rude was unacceptable.

I went in to get potting soil. The lady that was working acted like I was bothering her asking where to find it. I got a 20 lb. bag and paid her. I am 80 and navigating the heavy cart and trying to get out the door was difficult. She stood watching. When a brought the cart back in a young man came up and held the door for me until I got the cart put up and back out the door. I find it sad when young people are usually friendly and helpful, when on the other hand, older employees are unfriendly and in my opinion rude.

I usually enjoy goin into your stores, and interacting with the staff. However, tonight was a bit different. One of your employees was being very rude. I don't know if they were just having a bad night, or if they were about to leave, or if they had a bunch of stuff they had to get done before they closed, and they were just in a hurry, but your employee "Claudia" was being very short with everyone. I started baggin my own things, and they just stood there, and watched me... great customer service from THAT one! Other than that, my experience was pretty typical. I walked in, got my things, paid, and left. I usually don't like to throw people under the bus, but this person needs a serious attitude check! In their defense though, I feel it's only right to also point out that they did immediately offer to help me find whatever I was looking for as I browsed the store.

This place has some prices that are reasonable or cheap but the majority of things are the same price as everywhere else. The store is fully stocked at all times. The manager is always working very hard to take care of the store and to stock it. Some employees seem to care and others don't care at all or are not helpful. There is one guy who wears make-up and looks like an old lady who has an attitude problem. I don't have a problem with people who have alternative lifestyles or different gender identities. I do have a problem with people who act like jerks. I would avoid him. He gets off on creating a dramatic scene or being confrontational with customers in order for him to play the victom so he can say he is being discriminated against. This person would rather be on their phone then to help you. He puts up a sign to use the self-check out because he is too busy being on his phone.Update: I've given this store another chance because it's so darn convenient and they are fully stocked all the times. And there are a lot of hard working employees trying to do their best. And the manager seems to be trying to make a difference and make it a really good store. So, I have been back a few times.

If I could give this store location less than one star I would. Honestly it's one employee whom I believe is the manager that has ZERO customer service skills. It started about a month ago when I was buying a few things and went to the check out. I walked up to the register and this employee who wears glasses and hair up in a clip was on her phone looking down at her phone, she then looked up and noticed me...rolled her eyes and then continued to text and then finally decided to help me. This person acted like I bothered them AT THEIR HOME BASICALLY. I kind of shrugged it off thinking well everyone has their bad days so I left it at that. Last week I brought my disabled mother to dollar general to do her grocery shopping because it's easier for her to walk around a smaller store versus h.e.b to get what she needs without being in pain. She gets up to the register and the same lady with glasses is checking her out. Mind you there is a line and a lady standing behind my mother with one item. My mother apologized for having so many things to the lady in front of her and said sorry to the lady waiting behind her that could have been directed to the self check-out. The whole time the cashier was being completely rude and bothered by the amount of items my mom was purchasing. Mind you my mother was spending 200.00 in this store! The cashier/manager says "next time you need to go to h.e.b" in front of everyone ..my mother walked out with her groceries completely humiliated and embarrassed! I will never spend another dime in this store and have posted this in every neighborhood forum in my area. This employee is a disgrace to customer service and should be fired! Numerous times I've been here and they completely close the register and make everyone use self check out. Self check out is an option! I don't get paid by dollar general to check myself out. Do your job! Do better or leave customer service period!
