If i could give zero stars i would. Whoever was working 11/7/2024 at night deserves to be fired! Locking the door as soon as I walk up to the door because you “need to close” but it’s not 15 minutes until the closing time at 10 PM. Very unprofessional!!

Three weeks ago today all this happened. I had to call the Regional Manager back to get my information about my money. I gave him a whole week and he didn’t still call me so I had to call him. He told me they found the money they owe me the hundred dollars and tomorrow I’m supposed to go pick it up from the manager. I can only imagine if they treat their Customers like this I wonder how they treat their employees?
it is now another week. With no results from Dollar General. They still have not gotten my money back to me. I’ve been told by the customer service people at the 877 number that they were supposed to get back to me and get me my money. I finally got a call yesterday from the regional manager who was supposed to get back to me today. Did not hear from him. It’s sad if I have to take them to court for $100 I will. Because I know they owe it to me. I know I will win and they will have to pay for everything plus my $100.
this all occurred on July 30. I am still waiting for someone to do their job.
Update: Is now Friday. I had to call in again this time they’re going to escalate it to the regional manager. I will let you know how that goes if they call.
Two days later update: I have not heard from the district manager yet. I called corporate and reported situation, they told me they were going to contact the district manager and I would hear from them within 24 hours. So the district manager was supposed to call me within 24 hours and it has now been 48. Very unsatisfied!!
Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever had. They owe me $100 . I know it was an honest mistake by the cashier he was busy. They shorted me $100 that I didn’t notice at first. assistant manager refused to give me his name. They would not count the drawer when they shorted me $100. I had to actually call the police to come out here to talk to these people because he started cussing at me in the store. I told him the simple way to solve the problem is count the drawer. I’ve worked as a cashier And customer service rep. You count the drawer and you show that there’s not an overage or there is. Instead the.. Hispanic Male that was over the situation, would not give me his name. He wears his hair in a little poytail. Or man bun pictured below. You would not even apologize to start with. When I first started talking to him before he even came out and said he reviewed the tape and it looked like I had money in my hand. Yeah I had $600 in my hand. I was only trying to deposit $300 That didn’t go through so then I tried $100. He thought it went through. I didn’t notice it didn’t until I got home and then I went back, the phone number they have online is not a phone number that you can call them on. Had had to go up there he had the nerve to tell me he was not gonna give me his name nor the managers name. Definitely not manager material not assistant manager material. He shouldn’t even be working as a customer service person at all. He’s a dude in all black standing by door this is him

I used to like going to the store but after today what I found out what they told me about me talking Spanish to the employees I'm not going to mention no names you just lost a good customer just because of that somebody made a complaint that I was speaking Spanish with one of the employees is it me or is Dollar General will be racist I think they are so you don't get no I made a mistake but give you one star but yes Dollar General is racist don't go there I give you a bad review I used to like going there not anymore caucasians

It would be cool if they were open til 10 like they say they are. I came at 9:30 tonight and doors are locked. Seems a bit lazy to me.. Then the lady wants to have an attitude about unlocking the doors.

It was clean. Smelled very nice. Like clean large store. No boxes blocking aisles. Stocking was very up to date
