1st let me share the Positive then the real UgLy NegatIve things.
The reason I do love this store is because it's location is very convenient even though the neighborhood is a bad area but I overlook that because who are we to judge. That's why we have our court organizations from low profit org. to our city employees like SAPD who do their best to help those who need and add for help. But a person who doesn't realize that they're ill we can just pay.
Ok back to store. Location is great plus I love all the items I see the organizing I always see when I go in there the ladies are always sticking but..(here comes the negative)... But are they really sticking out going around looking for suppliers who really aren't even stealing just because of the way 1 looks. STEREOTYPING . I'm 53 yr old woman but I hate that when I'm in a store with only women I get labeled what I don't know if the employees are bored of sticking but following all around the store and embarrassing themselves when I'm approached very rudely of where are certain items that they saw in my basket earlier...I show then exactly that I still had them I just moved them from the top of my basket to the lower part will about 3 different UgLy embarrassing incidents happen but thankfully in from of other customers that I would've gotten angry but instead I felt good that the customers saw the rudeness and UgLy attitude all the ladies had in that store today when I went to shop. I'm not going to stop shopping there because when ever I shop I'm always on open and in view so anyone can see what I put or take out the counters to the bakery. In other words they seemed to be so bored cuz they were following me and bcuz of them following me and I'm trying to act like I don't see it hear the rude comments about keeping an eye on me... Why I'm in that store at least 3x a wk bcuz of the items but the employees make it so damn hard to think positive and over look the ugly of they're attitudes. This has been all the time I go there within the past 3wks that I'm starting to hesitate going there but bcuz they're location is so convenient(transfer buses) I stop there cuz there are items I need.
Today was a major distraction that I kept my calm bcuz when I saw other customers freaking out on how ugly they were being e with me but yet I still kept calm and continued shopping. I even avoided my favorite aisles in the crafts section cuz I go crazy with those items. Anyways
I was very distracted that I thought I had more money than what I really did. I had forgotten I had previously spent money at a pharmacy that I wondered having to put away items because I didn't have all the cash I thought I did... But I told the ladies I'm here in that store 3x a wk at least. It's it b because they haven't caught me stealing and they want to our is it they are so unhappy there and they take it out on a customer that they think is. I'm not gonna stop but I need to make a list of what I'm gonna buy and just get the hell out of they're. Those workers are very rude very rude to ladies a certain look I guess but I saw them out 1 of them show a gentleman to the reason? WOW.
I'm sorry but your choices of workers are ugly they are always mad and no smile on none at all... No greeters coming

I went to this store because it's fairly near my residence. I went in and selected a cart from the cart area and began shopping. One of the employees named Michelle accosted me and accused me of stealing her cart. I explained to her that I had got the cart from the front area where all of the other carts are located. She said no you didn't, I was using this cart and these specific carts are never up front with the others, I said the girl at the counter saw me pick this cart and again she said no you didn't! I said are you calling me a liar? She she "said yes I am"! I relinquished the cart to her as I didn't want to escalate the matter further. I returned my prospective purchases to the shelves and told the girl at the counter what happened and that I would not be returning to this store as there are a million other dollar trees sprinkled around my neighborhood that are much cleaner and with far less combative employees. My guess is that Michelle really doesn't care whether or not anyone returns to the store because she gets paid by the hour and could care less whether the store makes profits or not. Enough said on this subject.

Biggest dollar tree in San Antonio. They have everything and it's clean and organized. I'm not to sure on the neighborhood. The staff is so nice, professional and welcoming. The freezer section is massive.

Just left this joke of a store about 5 minutes ago. I get there, store was empty. I grabbed my items, got to the cash register with two employees at the register. Turns out the girl who was supposed to be there was “hiding” so the other two employees called her on the intercom. Eventually this short skinny girl with glasses struts out laughing. When she finally gets to the register she’s more concerned about the conversation the two other employees were joking about than to actually finish checking me out of the store. They take it as a big joke and I walked out. No wonder the homeless camps who come into this store have taken over. If the store was busy is one thing but these people were just cutting up.
