I rarely leave reviews unless they are good but I have lived near the naco /occonner store 18 yrs. Now and the last 6 years i have has multiple bad experiences with a lady named pamela. She apparently is the manager. She has been rude to me , my mom and daughter to many times to count. I have also witnessed her being rude to other customers numerous times in line and have had conversations about how rude she is with other customers. today she was rude to a sweet lady that works there and i felt so bad that i had to post something. I have complained over the last few years and didnt seem to matter. i actually stopped going there for a year due to how awfully rude she has been. Im sure i cant be the only complaint and i cant understand why she is still a manager. She is short with answers and then yells at customers at other times. She has a awful demeanor and i had given her the benefit of the doubt over the years before i actually complained. I just cant understand how u can be rude at every encounter. I hope that this can be remedied But today when i heard her yell at the employee checking us out to “take a break “i felt so bad. My daughters card wasnt working and so we took longer than normal to checkout and i really hope the sweet lady didnt get in any troubleShe only took long to check us out because of my daughter cardThank you.Im leaving 3 star due to the fact that the other employees are great and it would be 5 if pamela wasnt there

I visited store #6190 yesterday. There was a young cashier that greeted everyone that came in in a genuinely friendly way. He also sent everyone off in a similar way. He went out of his way to help me try and find an item I came in for. His name is CJ. I told him that he made my day with his attitude and friendliness, not just toward me, but to all of his customers. We need more people in this world like CJ. May God bless him.

The store manager is beyond rude!!!It’s too hot inside of the store for people to be comfortable to shop. The bathroom has been out of order and the manager has a sign saying that “anyone caught going into the bathroom will get banned from the store!!! WTH!!!

If I could give less stars I would. The manager, Pam, was so awful. A customer went in and she had several items and was only rung up for half of her items. The manager put the other stuff back after the customer paid and didn't realize she only paid for a few things out of all that she had chosen to buy. The cashier was very apologetic to the customer when she came back to ask about her stuff.Another customer was refused payment because he had a $100 bill and she cancelled his order and put all his stuff back. When he came back she said he had to go find it if he wanted it. She's was rude and you could see the cashier was embarrassed by her actions. I felt for the cashier. Poor girl was put in such a predicament. This is not a manager, she is a bully to the cashiers and customers.

Nice looking store however the manager told us we had 7 minutes to shop on Sunday when we arrived at 7:45 pm because they close at 8:00 pm. The sign on the door clearly shows they close at 9 pm. I understand if they don't have enough employees but they did. The manager said she knew the sign says 9 pm but that the lights automatically go off at 8 pm. We were still in the parking lot at 8:15 pm and all the lights were still on. Picture was taken inside was as we left the store at 8:01 pm, the other picture was as we left at 8:16 pm. We wouldn't be so irritated if they weren't so rude as we came in to the store or the manager lying about the lights automatically going off.

I use this store fairly often since in down the street. The store is not dirty, but not clean. Like most DTs I've been to. Lol It's tolerable if that makes sense.Items are $1.25. There is also a $2-$5 section now. Sometimes they mix them up, so check your prices. Some of those items are NOT worth it. Try not to grocery shop here unless you find a really good deal or just need a quick item if it's the holidays and you dont want to deal with alot of people. Veggies are cheaper at HEB across the street if you don't mind off brand. There are TWO cashiers at this location who are friendly. They need self-service lanes, but due to location, probably will never happen. Maybe the workers don't get paid enough to care about the job and customers?Lines are usually really long and slow. That's frustrating mainly because there are always more workers around. Usually they're behind the other lanes chatting. There's always workers "stocking" things that DON'T need to be stocked. During busy times there is always at least 1 worker who's is stocking an already stocked soda fridge on the edge of checkouts....get on a register. The line shouldn't be that long. We care more about our time than seeing a fully stocked fridge. We want to hurry up and leave just like yall do.I mainly come here for toys, party section, education section, and craft section. They have a decent amount of items compared to other locations I've been to. That's pretty much why I come back here so often.

Dollar tree is very basic very general. Cashiers are Android like most of the time. I think they should be replaced with self-serve check out. They're usually way more people waiting in line than there are registers opened. I was in there yesterday cashier didn't say hello, wasn't friendly at all, actually I thought she just didn't want to be there that day. I only go in there when I need something that I can get anywhere else but I know it's going to be cheaper and I'm in and out. DT is meh at best. Oh and things are just a dollar anymore they're a dollar 25. ?

Bought 3 items and my total was $4.06. If I had bought comparable items at Walmart my total would have been $5.07. So I saved $1.01.To get this savings amount you have to divide the ounces or number of items per box by the price. In doing so you can see how much each item per container cost. For example, I got 6 lawn bags for around 22 cents per bag. At Walmar it would have cost me 56 cents per bag, even with my associate discount. The drawback wit dollar tree is that some items are small and you'd need two or three of them last you. Even buying 2 or 3 boxes you save same amount. Now on some items, you have to watch it. The ounces are really small and even though the price is less than Walmart, Walmart'sbigger size cost you less per ounceFor that bigger size you pay more than at Dollar Tree but, when you divide the ounces you come out cheaper. Dollar Tree plays on people who say want to spend only $20. They get some of everything they need. At Walmart, they might have spent $30 but gotten more for their money (larger sizes and less cost piece or ounce). However, if all you have to spend is $20, Dollar Tree worked. Now, this if you have a Dollar Tree and Walmart near each other. Don't drive extra miles to save a buck or two because the gas cost will eat up the savings.Be frugle where you can and you just might surprise yourself on the savings. Of course, you must have a certain brand, then you might not find it at Dollar Tree. However, they do have a variety of name brands. Other unfamiliar brands are good too, you just have to try some and see what you like.Restrooms can use an update. The store was fairly cleanSome empty spots in the store. I don't fault employees because I saw only 1 on duty and she was manning the cash register. No self-checkouts.. I can imagine you'd need one employee to diligently watch them. They have a Plus section that has $2 to $5 items. Some items looked good while others looked cheap.Overall,, this Dollar Tree serves a purpose and was pretty darn clean.

Messy store, dirty and very unsanitized. Extremely rude cashier! Long line and the lady still turned off her light. Not to mention she's eating while helping customers.

Neat and organized compared to other dollar trees. I absolutely love shopping at this store just not the people who shop in it!!!
