If you ever rent a vehicle from Enterprise on Bandera and 410. Be very careful!! Lesson learned, DO NOT take the word from the rental employee that any previous damage on the vehicle you are renting is annotated. That, as I mentioned, is a lesson learned by me, for I took the employee's word that the damage was annotated. The vehicle we rented had hail damage, granted it hasn't hailed in San Antonio for quite some time, and if it has, it was pea size if at that. I asked the employee several times if the damage was annotated, and every time, she said yes. Big mistake, I should have asked her to show me instead of taking her word. So, I drive off home, park the vehicle, and use it mainly for appointments and groceries. I put maybe 200 miles on the vehicle if at that. A couple of weeks later, my truck that was in the repair shop is ready for pick-up. I go to the shop, pick up my truck, and leave the rental at the repair shop because Enterprise said we could do it for convenience. The next morning the I got a call from the Enterprise stating the vehicle had hail damage. I told the employee of what transpired upon renting the vehicle with the other employee and her stating it was already documented. Well, the headaches begin because, of course, she states that nothing was documented. So, instead of elaborating more of what I'm going to have to fight to get things right. My recommendations are, NEVER RENT A VEHICLE FROM ENTERPRISE ON BANDERA AND 410!!!If you find yourself having to rent from there, take pictures of the vehicle. Heck, even video the employee and the walk around inspection. Ask for proof of previous damage and that it is, in fact, annotated. Do not take their word, as I previously mentioned it is a lesson learned for me. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. After reading several Google reviews, I noticed I wasn't the only one to experience this. In my opinion, this rental office frequently deals with fraudulent claims regarding hail damage since no significant hail has been reported in the San Antonio area for a long time, and for sure NO hail reported at all during the time I had their rental vehicle.

I would first like to clarify why I initially felt annoyed with Enterprise, where it concerned the first car we had been issued by them (Toyota Cross Sport). When car shut off unexpectedly, I had called up Enterprise immediately; however, I ended up driving straight their since their lines are dead/unresponsive half the time, which was the case when I tried several times to call. I spoke with Roger and explained the issue with the car and my concern for driving with my daughter and not wanting to break down or have the car shut off again. Roger suggested I take the car to the garage for them, telling me "it won't take long". I was a little taken back by the request but drove off the lot with the car until the next morning. I returned the car the following day and expressed to Roger that I shouldn't be asked to take the car to the mechanic for them, I am simply renting from them. It is Enterprise's responsibility to rent out safe and reliable vehicles! Roger did agree to swap the vehicle and I was given a VW Passat. I didn't have time to hang around and promptly left to my next destination after walking around the vehicle. When I arrived I noticed a sticker just inside the door for service, showing a mileage that the car was soon to reach (within 200miles). I called back up and spoke with Roger again, who assured me that the vehicle had just gone through its service/oil change and not to worry about the sticker in the door. I also noted a sticky brake pad on the car but thankfully this is just a mild annoyance and something to get used to as the car sometimes brakes sharply. I have had several occasions where the lane assist has had the car randomly trying to pull me into other lanes/vehicles on the highway. This is not great since I am always with my little girl. I am then fighting with the steering wheel to stay in lane. And since this feature comes on by default each time I start the car, it is when those incidents happen that I am reminded to turn it off. I had only been driving the car for around a week when the car notification popped up for the next service/oil change. At the time of the review I had no end date given on the repairs to my own vehicle (insurance rental) or that of when the rental agreement would expire. I am still unsure of this date as our rental is to be extended as my car now finally gets repaired. I want to say this hasn't been the worst experience but certainly not the best.I believe Enterprise could do better where it concerns the safety of vehicles and staying up to date on service. My review was responded to and I did reach out via email as requested. Maybe Enterprise could actually respond. Do y'all ever respond OR just request us to email you so SAY you acknowledged us as reviewers??

What a disappointment, everything was going great with my rental for 1(ONE) night. I picked up the car the night of the Dec, 27 @ 8:30 pm at the IAH and returned it the next day Dec. 28 @ 1:30 pm in SA and the guy that received the car said that it had hail damage on the roof. We thought he was playing because it was very obvious that that particular night it wasn't any hail, not even rain in Houston neither in San Antonio. Here are the pictures of the roof with supposed hail damage where only the guy with a trained eye can see it (he called himself like that)

These guys get 1 star for lying about a dent that was already on the car before I rented it . Now they are trying to charge me $750 of my hard earned money. Don’t even try to Work with these fools. The don’t even have before pictures of the car yet they are charging me with that lack of evidence. When getting we told about about all the dents it had which they responded that it was all written down. Go to a better company.
