Rich from enterprise was amazing. My car was stolen so I needed a rental through insurance. He spoke to my insurance for me and made everything go smoothly. Rich also made sure to let me know if insurance increased my rental timeline and helped me with returning the vehicle to another location. I have never had to get a rental through insurance so I had no idea what I was doing and Rich made the process simple and easy. Best customer service I’ve experienced with a rental car company.

Despite having a reservation made a month in advance, day of pickup car wasn’t ready. We were told to come after noon to see if it was available. So we managed to just tell them we’d be there the next day, after noon. Next day we call to see if our car was ready, they said after noon (it was 11 am) So we came back, and guess what? They had only a one car available and it was a downgrade. They were reserving a SUV for a different customer, but never honored my reservation, and instead INSISTED in us taking the smaller car, which we were going to have to keep for longer than 2 weeks and wouldn’t work out for us to have a much smaller car. After a VERY long time of me trying to get a decent answer, the manager sent us to a different location where we finally got a vehicle. But not after wasting our time, and making us not only come back twice but also driving to medical center area to get the car. At least, we had one (finally).

Good location and good service. There can be a wait though and the prices are on the high side. Best to make a reservation as it's a smaller location with limited vehicles.

They do not answer the phone. When I tried to apply tax exemption, as it was a business transaction with a non-profit, they told me that it was my fault for not using the corporate ID. This is probably illegal. Every business in Texas allows the use of a Tax Exemption Certificate form.

If you are an out of state, active duty military person, serving your country and you have an out of state Driver's license that has expired, (because you are in the service for 4+ years, out of your home state) but you have an indefinite extension granted by your state's DMV, with the proper paperwork to prove the license is not expired even though the physical copy says it is, they will turn you down. VERY COLD TREATMENT TO OUR MILITARY FAMILY! We will not rent from them again, regardless. Also, customer service person, manager on duty on 9/6/2023 around 2 pm was a poor example of a manager in the way he handled this situation. My response to their reply asking for more information is talk to your manager at that facility as we had argued for about a solid 10 minutes over this situation he should have all the information necessary I was told over and over again that is our policy sir that is our policy sir. So tell me out in the open how you're going to resolve this?

The national call Center for Enterprise made a complete mess of my reservation. They had me at the wrong Enterprise here in San Antonio and had me driving all over the place trying to figure it out. Made one phone call to the place that I needed to be at and the young man's name was Jesse and he completely straightened out the whole situation and had me driving an Enterprise Rental Car within 30 minutes. Three cheers for Jesse.

This location gets you your car to go. A little annoying that your enterprise account info is unavailable so time was wasted showing IDs, etc. I understand Hertz is a little more expensive, but I've never felt like I was visiting the inquisition when renting a car.

This is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had in many decades as an adult. The first red flag was when I was picking up the car. After doing the required walk around inspection & pointing out the damage, Assistant Branch Manager Jesse Gutierrez was very pushy & threatening when he tried to sell me their $22/ day insurance. He asked how much is my deductible, & how many days did I think I would have the car, then calculated how much the extra insurance would cost, compared to my deductible. When I still declined, he warned me that as soon as I drove away, I would be liable for ANYTHING that happened to the car that wasn’t documented in the inspection. I should have known then that I was going to be scammed. When I returned the car, Branch Manager Natasha McCarthy ‘inspected’ it & found HAIL DAMAGE on the roof. I told her that was impossible because it was garaged when I was at home (I hate getting into a hot car, & mine was in the shop, so I had an empty bay in the garage); my part time day job has covered parking; AND the car was still clean from when I picked it up—not a raindrop on it! Her answer: we’ve had hail in the area in the past couple of weeks, & people have been returning cars with hail damage & not reporting it. When I asked her to show me, she pointed to several places on the immaculate, smooth & shiny roof (see my photo) as if there was actually something there. I’ve been living in TX long enough to recognize hail damage, & whatever microscopic imperfections she was pointing to were not from hail. Notice in the photo that the car is still clean & shiny from when I picked it up, & the windshield is completely clear—no wiper smudges. Ever seen a hailstorm without wind or rain? Needless to say, she went ahead & filed a loss report, & advised me that my insurance would have to pay for the repair. I intend to fight this bogus claim with every resource at my disposal. A word to the wise: don’t trust Enterprise rental car jockeys trying to sell you their insurance. They probably get an incentive for every s***** they manage to rope in. And if you don’t get the insurance, they can always file a loss report to teach you a lesson. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER! I intend to avoid Enterprise car rental at all costs from now on.

Usually I do not have issue with Enterprise. However it has been painful in getting someone to pick up the phone at this Enterprise to arrange pickup as well as unread corporate "message" to contact me to either adjust pickup date/time due lack of driver. I saw stay away from this Enterprise unless the customer service improves.Update on 5/30. As I guess it. Even after contacting the whatever email they asked me to contact the higher ups, all I got in the end was this location is "short staffed and busy and did I wish to rent a vehicle". Like I told... I think the manager that called me, would you rent a car if treated like that. You guessed it, silence...and "would you want to rent a vehicle". What a d-bag, I told him no thank you. Someone at Enterprise needs to do something about that team.

I upgraded my rental car, my other rental was ok but not what I needed. The truck I got is supper nice, it's a 2023 Tundra and very clean. I had to wait for about 10 min before I could be helped. But the staff were polite and friendly.
