On 4/7/2025 I visited the Express location in North Star mall, San Antonio Tx. Upon taking a pair of pants to the counter I inquired about a small size, the associate went in back and could not locate one, the associate then returned to the register and looked at stock on a handheld device and advised me that I could purchase the pants today and then take them to the La Cantera location to exchange them for a smaller size (0) where they had them available. I made the purchase based on this advice. On 4/11/2025 I took the pants to the La Cantera location and attempted to exchange the item, I was advised the item sold to me was a non-exchangeable/returnable final sale. I advised them that I had been assured at the other location I could exchange them, and it was the only reason I purchased them and the reason I came to their location. The associate at the register spoke with the manager on duty, Evelyn Gonzalez, who advised her not to assist me with the exchange. At this time I requested the number for customer service to make an executive complaint, which I filed on 4/11/25, but the response I received via email from the customer service manager Donndee was simply a cut and paste of the policy. The manger on duty, Evelyn, refused to address the issue though she saw me standing there and simply walked off to another area in the store. I believe that I was sold an item under false pretense as no signage is posted in store stating final sale, nor the associate indicated the item as final sale prior to me making my purchase, additionally the item is available on the Express website and is not listed as a final sale item. This is an unethical business practice and appears to be a way to inflate sales goals and retain consumer funds.

I called to ask about the availability of an item. The lady on the phone was so polite and placed the item on hold for me! When I picked it up, I was helped by another lady who was so delightful and helped me sign up for the rewards system. This gave me $10 off my order. Great friendly service!

If I could give zero stars I would.
I walked into the women’s side of express, no one greeted me, and the two workers behind the counter not once asked if I needed help, the gentleman behind the counter had no respect and had vulgar language that anyone and everyone could hear. They were glued to their phones rather than assisting customers.
I will not be returning to this location. This was at 7pm today.

We walked in and store was pristine because the employees didn't care about custom service. We literally walked by 3 employees, one was picking his pimples at the mirror and the other 2 ladies never said one word to my wife and daughters. No wonder no one one was in the store. TERRIBLE SERVICE!

Not sure in what part of the world it’s ok to sell someone a blouse without the price tag/ sku etc? I purchased this on 12/19/23 how would I return this if it was a gift? Your employee refused to re-ticket the blouse or even ask me if it was going to be a gift. I guess your employees are just too lazy to do their job.

I went in recently to exchange a suit for my husband and it was definitely a process. Dora, the sales associate, was so patient and helpful in working through my request with me. I really appreciate it because we needed the suit for a wedding coming up later in the month and we were in crunch time.

First time to this location on black Friday tried to get something for my daughter but they were not available in store needed to be ordered online, staff Briana Banuelos helped me to make the order even it took time and she is a really patience and such professional. will definitely go back again.

Bought a pair of jeans in store for full price, only to find them 30% off online. I called that same day asking for price adjustment and was told the physical store is different than online, and I would need to return the jeans to the store, and re purchase them online to get the sale. What?! A different store?? They’re both called “Express” right? Lost a customer.
