First off you need to spend a minimum of $3 to purchase here using a card, second my main reason leaving a review is that the environment here is VERY unwelcoming to African Americans. As I shopped one of the employees stared me down the WHOLE time I was shopping as if I would steal. I am very well off, I have no need to do that and even if I wasn’t, it’s not in my blood. This place is racist and inconvenient to those who just need one item that may be under $3

Heads up, bad customer service experience at El Rodeo by Exxon on Potranco Rd. Went through the drive thru and ordered bean and cheese nachos, and tacos for the family. Went home and found a dark short hair melted in my nachos, drove back to Rodeo and let the drive thru person see it, she insisted she couldn't see it. I was nice and forthcoming about the situation, wasn't rude or being ugly, and knew it wasn't her actual fault. She however was and said, it's not my fault what do you want me to do? At this point, I just asked for a refund for the nachos only, she insisted I write my name and ph# down and that someone will call. I did take a pic of it, and my family and I will no longer go this place, but I feel she should have better manners and people skills if she is to be working the drive thru. Her being condescending and sarcastic was the worse. And I hope someone does call me.

The food wad good service was NOT! I had to take my cups to the front to be refilled. The waitress dropped our out food and bill and never came back. i told the lady in the front and ahe said " we are just really busy"'. Too busy to come back to make sure your customers don't need anything else?

Worst tortillas ever. The store bought ones down the road at HEB are better. I think they are not made in house. They need to make them fresh.

The older female server at the drive thru window is by far the rudest person. If you are looking to be insulted, have food that is missing from your order, and get over charged from your meal all at the same time then this is the place for you. I wouldn't recommend this place merely on the fact the food is over priced. However, the fact the older lady that services the window is extremity rude and unwelcoming of customers is enough that i will constantly let people know this place is not a great place.

Of the three meats I had, the barbacoa was the best. It was nicely tender and there was a lot of it. The lengua still had skin, which didn't alter the texture too much, but usually I'm used to it being smooth on all sides. The al pastor was just ok. It didn't taste as complex as I was expecting. The red salsa in the bottle was my jam. With the chips they served queso and red salsa. Love the queso, but the salsa just tasted like tomato and no spice. Our bottles of salsa were shuffled to another table fairly quickly.

Stopped by for a couple of Tacos this morning. I ordered 2 carne guisada tacos and a bean and cheese. Came to almost 8 dollars. Got home and opened my tacos and had only 2 pieces of meat in one taco and 3 in the other and a ton of gravy. I think at almost 3 dollars a taco they should have more than a couple pieces of meat each. Not the first time for bad experience but definitely will be the last time never going again.
