Not a print and ship FedEx. They are not equipped to package items. Very difficult to get to as it’s inside the resort. Also they wanted to charge $35 EXTRA per box after shipping fees!

Associate was kind and accommodating. But… Avoid anyway if possible: (1) Rates are more than 2x those of typical locations, as this location is captive to the resort (example: $1.69 per copy here vs $0.75 at a typical location); (2) to get any type of refund, customer needs to give all kinds of personal information per “FedEx policy”.Unfortunately, I won’t do business with FedEx from this point forward.

The staff at this in-hotel location is nothing short of amazing. I'm not sure if the stars just aligned correctly and placed employees with top-notch creativity, problem solving, communication, and flexibility, paired with compassion and consideration in this setting with unique demands or if someone higher up at FedEx actually built such a team intentionally, but the result is phenomenal. Because it is connected to an impressive conference/convention facility, there is a constant flow of business men and women who pass through their doors who have had something go wrong with their marketing materials, presentations, etc., and they are under extreme pressure and time constraints to get it fixed immediately- often with very high stakes. Lost brochures, deleted files, shipping delays... things just happen, sometimes. This staff gets that urgency and stretches in every possible direction to make things work for their customer, whether or not they had anything to do with the complication.

Ordered a few posters from this FedEx as I needed them for a conference at Marriott (where they are located). The posters looked good; however, I was surprised when I noticed they printed them on thick boards rather than on poster paper (which can be rolled up and carried around). I needed them right away so I couldn't return them (even though the woman did offer to reprint them, but it would have taken another day). Not sure why it was assumed I needed posters on poster boards, but this really messed up my two presentations. It was also a major inconvenience to carry them around (and to throw out later on). Very polite staff, which is much appreciated, but very unsatisfied with the product.

Overall FedEx experience: Perhaps this ship center is very good, but I didn't visit here. This is merely a warning about FedEx's overall corporate abilities. A package I sent through them languished in Spring Branch for four days before they picked it up. It then took a week to get to Houston. A week! I could have walked 199 miles in a week. After that the package simply disappeared. After another week of seeing the same lack of progress on their website I contacted customer service. They told me they couldn't track it because it had been "too long." They delayed the package and then lost it, but couldn't track it because their system took too long to do anything with it. I use USPS exclusively unless a shipper insists on using UPS or FedEx. If I really need the item I acquiesce. From now on I think I'll stick with USPS as they have proven to be very dependable.
