They wanted to charge me 80 dollars for a valve stem and an additional 120 for the service and programming. I only had the tire and not the vehicle and they said that they would still charge me the 120 for the service and it couldn't be separated.
Edit: I got the valve stem replaced across the street at Mr. Flores for $20 dollars.

I went in just to get my car checked after they checked it they kept trying to do the work on my car i kept telling them no and theh kept giving me discount on top of discount it sounded good so i said yes go to pick up my car they charged me and extra $709 from what they told me. Dont trust them i contacted corporate and they kept saying they call me in 2 day never did contacted them again about it same thing. Terrible company

I recently visited your shop for tire service on my C8 Corvette, which is equipped with custom gloss black rims. Unfortunately, my experience was not up to expectations due to the following issues:
Excessive Use of Impact Wrench: The technician used an impact wrench excessively to loosen the lug nuts. Upon inspection, I found that I (the customer) had to use a breaker bar to loosen the lug nuts. This indicates that technician uses the impact wrench too much, which could lead to unnecessary stress on the wheels and studs.
White Balancing Weights on Gloss Black Rims: The technician used white weights to balance the tires on my gloss black custom rims. This is a poor aesthetic choice, as it clashes significantly with the appearance of the rims. Matching black weights should have been used to maintain the sleek, cohesive look.
Concerns with Technician Performance: Overall, I was not satisfied with the attention to detail or the care shown by the technician working on my vehicle. With a high-performance car like the C8 Corvette, precision and attention to detail are critical, and I felt those standards were not met. They need to upgrade the tire machine, this one used sharp bare metal teeth to hold on to my $5000 rims.
I trust Firestone for quality service, but this experience was disappointing. I hope these issues can be addressed to ensure a better experience for other customers in the future, particularly those with custom or high-performance vehicles.

If I could give this location a ZERO I would. I brought my Mercedes in for a nail in my tire. A week later I had a flat tire- same place, same tire. Then the technicians said they didn’t have the tools to remove my tire but I would have to buy a new tire anyway. Even though I bought the tires FROM THEM. Also- I would have to pay for the tire even though it’s under warranty. Their warranty is useless.
I explained that this car is used to transport my disabled combat veteran husband to treatments when he can’t drive. There was no empathy or compassion. They are preying on the wife of a Veteran and it’s sick.
I have tried to get my car serviced by this location multiple times. Every-time it’s been a failure.
The only positive thing about this place is the nice guy at the front. The mechanics are arrogant and unhelpful.

Twice my mother has gone to this location and has paid for large repairs she didnt need. Because weeks later, after breaking down again for same reason, she would then go to a different Firestone (Bandera near 1604) and they would find the real issue.

A nail in the tire. The manager was notified that I needed another tire since the tire can't be fixed. This so called manager told me this 45 minutes after waiting for nothing . I told somone why nobody is working on the tire. He was defensive instead of acknowledged his incompetence. The worst manager (Paulus) this firestone has ever had and I have been with them for over 8 years. I will never comeback. I almost lost my job being late to work.

This place has forever lost me as a customer. I will never be going back. I have been a customer here for almost two years. I recently took my vehicle in to have a service done and they quoted me $312 that day so I scheduled an appointment for a few day later and I dropped my car off at 7am when they opened. They said it should not take more than 2 hrs to complete. 12pm rolls around and they called me saying the person who originally quoted me the price of $312 was incorrect and the actual price would be $425.. okay, I was understanding and that price was still workable for my budget. Well, 4pm rolls around and still no car so I call and they tell me they are still working on it. So now the plans I had scheduled for that day have had to be cancelled because instead of 2 hours it’s been a whole 8 hours later and still no car! About 4:45 they call me again and say the price now will be $1,200! How did we go from $312 to $1200??? So, I let them know that I was not going to be able to afforded that because I had budget for the price they originally gave me when I came in to have the car inspected. They preceded to tell me there was nothing they could do and if they put they car back together it would not run.. how do I give you a perfectly running car for you just to turn around and say it will not be able to run when I come to pick it up? Worst part, I was scheduled for a road trip the following week so all my money had to go to getting the car fixed because they quoted me incorrectly. NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE BUT 3 times?? I took my car up there on a Saturday, they said they wouldn’t be able to get the part need untill Tuesday. So not only did I have to spend the money I planed on using for my road trip I had to Uber back and forth for 4 days due to not having a car. So disappointed and disgusted with this overall experience.

My husband and I booked an appointment after which we received a call from your shop about tire size. The same worker encouraged us to show up 2.5 hours earlier than our scheduled appointment. When we showed up it was 1235pm. We were then told by this same worker that due to the shop being extremely busy, it could be 2-3 hours before we were seen, but he'd 'try to get it in the shop sooner'. We went across the street for lunch and spent 1.5 hours there. Walked back to Firestone shop and noticed that our car was in the same spot. My husband asked the shop worker, same guy who told us to show up that early but said he couldnt recall which car was ours. Finally got into the shop around 310pm. While we waited, the same guy started telling us we didnt have an appointment and should have made one? I reminded him that I booked an appointment and he is the one who called us and encouraged us to come in. Scanned my car try and sell me unnecessary items. Will never return to Firestone.

I had a 3:00 appointment. I arrived at 2:40 or so. My truck was not pulled into a bay until about 4:20 and was not completed until almost 6:00. Over 3 hours to put 4 tires on a vehicle is absolutely ridiculous. I’ll gladly pay more next time at Discount Tire and save me two hours of waiting.

I had all four of my ignition coils replaced here for a hefty fee and I’ve had to bring it back for the third time because my check engine light keeps coming on. I heard they have a great technician, but I’m frustrated that they can’t get this right.

Always been a Firestone customer and today reminded me why. I woke up to a flat tire when I was headed out to work. My usual Firestone was in the wrong direction so I stopped by this location on Babcock, hoping they could get me in and out before I needed to be at work. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by compassionate and caring employees who not only fixed my flat but got me out in record time. Despite my adding to their busy morning schedule, they never once made me feel like a hassle. Excellent service. Will definitely be back.

I had a Diehard Battery installed plus an alternator within this past Year and recently have had some issues with charging system failures ⛑️
After a thorough review and analysis ~ they determined that both the alternator & battery needed to be replaced.

In fact, as I was waiting in the lounge area to get serviced. I witnessed him assist and take care of numerous customers and helpless individuals. Some willing to listen nicely and other's not so much, his Professionalism & Jedi Master Skills easily swayed the situation in his favor as he explained in detailed form the solution's and options to both willing and unwilling customers. ?? ??
Some people are much more difficult than other's and he had the uncanny ability to render his analysis and expertise in a rather flattering way...?
Some people can handle the music ?? while other's cannot ?♂️?♂️
I personally got up off my chair in waiting area to shake his hand and give praise to him in regards to how he delicately bombarded this Unruly & Uncooperative *(No It All)* with Precision Factual Data and Diagnostic Solutions....it was like watching "Bruce Lee" take down a Villain but with words of Knowledge & Experience....??☯️??

It was 6:00 PM on a Friday night and my tire light came on. I drove to Firestone and they took my car in immediately. There was a nail in the tire and they repaired it at no cost to me. I was there maybe 15 minutes. Thank you Babcock Firestone!
