Fort Sam Houston Commissary is a grocery store with great prices, especially for meat products like pork belly, baby back ribs, and fresh cut meat. It now carries beer and wine. The deli provides amazing service with very fresh subs, vegetables, and meats. Staff are consistently courteous, polite, and helpful. However, the fresh seafood selection is very limited, with more available frozen. Some frozen foods can seem freezer burnt, and fruits are not always the freshest, sometimes requiring shoppers to go elsewhere. The store is generally a decent and pleasant shopping experience, though stocking can sometimes be slow.
It's convenient from my workplace and from the Veterans Cemetery where I go everyday and tax free. The products are cheaper and the meat are fresh.

Monthly shopping trip to save some money bur the prices are going up there also. Prices are still going up and now a lot of their regular stock is not being restocked moving everyone over to 2 or 3 different Brands.

Clean and well organized, maybe they make changes around store too often and sometimes you have to search for itema.
