I would give zero stars if at all possible. There are so many discount place's to rent a car I implore you to use one of those. I have never rented a car from the airport and booked here to drive to Austin to see my boyfriend in the hospital. I had not even gotten out of my car when a man (not in any uniform) approached me and said is that your car? I replied yes and he said you can't park there. I said ok and started to walk to their little box - and again he said you can't park there. I said where can I park and he told me the long term parking. Mind you there is nothing stating NO PARKING - and then another man again in no uniform approaches the situation and said you can't park your car there over night aggressively and I said I am not parking here overnight. And where does it say no parking? He said I don't give a s*it you can't park there. At this point I state I do not want to rent from them and head to cancel. Then a woman said we will not be renting to you - and I said ok I didn't want to rent from this place. It was a horrible experience with people who hate their menial job. I asked to speak to the manager whom they finally get and again no uniform - and he says it is my fault for asking why there was a no parking sign that it comes off aggressive. And I said oh so it's my fault? And he said it was both of our faults. And I told him it wouldn't have been an issue if 1. The man who originally approached me would have let me know where to park in a half was decent tone. And for reference I had to ask the guy to please go away as he was in my personal space loving and wanting to be involved in all the drama laughing and smirking. So if you want to be treated horribly this is the place for you. If not try anywhere else.

It is a company of scoundrels and liars, don't be fooled, they are scammers, I rented a car for one day, the price of which was $57 plus insurance, $15 and a deposit, they left $150. did not return it.

Thank you Genesis!! With a bit of a car availability challenge this wonderful evening manager sorted things out for my rental successfully & to my absolute not only satisfaction, but above & beyond my hopes for a great rental had me on my way in a short mood of time! This location is a shining star of customer service in my frequent car rental experience!! I have used locations from California to Texas, and San Antonio location by far out, shines them all!

Good Car and Responsive Service. Was not particularly happy with recommendation for Toll Transponder, as my travel only included one toll and it could have been easily avoided, but I paid the daily $12.99/7 days. I explained to the agent my travel route, and the 1 toll on one day at Austin could have been easily avoided. Still I should have asked for more detail, but as always, I was in a hurry, so I paid.

On Saturday 9/23/2023 Ihad a horrible experience with one of the girls at the desk. She was extremely rude! Zero customer service skills. I don't understand why a company would keep someone employed that treats people with such disdain. I felt like I was at the DMV dealing with her. I'll never do business with this company again. I actually had to get back in line to get another agent to help me. Thanks Russell! You were great! The girl sitting next to you is a slob person.

Drop off was very fast and efficient. Henry from San Antonio airport was very professional ,friendly and courteous.Definitely capped off our trip the right way. Fox / Europcar was great from start to finish.

I was apprehensive after seeing some bad reviews, but overall I had a pleasant experience. I like that I wasn’t pressured to do unnecessary additions to my rental. It was fast and easy and my car was a lot of fun to drive! Thank you!

I paid extra for priority service. This allowed me to go directly to the car lot, bypassing the four person line up at the regular check-in desk. The mid grade SUV I ordered was a high end vehicle, spotless inside and out, and got excellent gas mileage. I will definitely rent from Fox again!

So thankful to Genesis with Fox for going above and beyond to help us. We realized we were missing a phone after we had returned our rental, and Genesis persistently searched for 30 minutes and did not quit until she found the phone. Many would have likely never offered to help or have given up but not Genesis - huge thank you!!Overall experience with Fox was very positive - we reserved in advance and pick up and drop off were both smooth and efficient.

Don't be lured by cheap rental rates Fox Rent A Car-didn't honor my reservation for a small compact and claimed only to have a larger car requiring additional charges. I needed car immediately so I had to accept their bait and switch tactics. As I was readying the minivan they assigned me, someone was given a small Toyota like the one I reserved. At every other car rental company I have used they don't charge when they have to give you a different car. They have a one and a half star rating and that is too high!!

I've used fox rental car the past 2 years. Never had an issue. The agents at the desk are always friendly. Making a reservation online is quick and the local deals they have are super nice. The cars are always nice and ready to go when I get there and drop off is simple also. Fox car rental is a good small company alternative to use.

I have to admit I was a bit tentative having read some critical reviews, particularly about pressure for add on fees and unexpected surcharges. Just being educated and expecting this is part of the rental process negated any negative experience for us- know what you need and want and only accept what's appropriate. The vehicle was clean and excellent condition, and the service both at check out and check in was very easy, friendly and extremely professional. I would rent from Fox again and recommend them to any who have not tried yet.

I was a little hesitant to rent from Fox after reading the reviews. But I think most people just need to do their due diligence. You don’t need insurance if you have collision, theft, etc. If you don’t you need to get insurance through the car rental company. You don’t need a toll pass unless you plan on going over the Golden Gate or Oakland bridges numerous times. We only went once over the bridge so we got fast track. Also, fill your gas tank.These are just a few things. I’ve noticed people complain about. We had no issues. They were very busy when we arrived they knocked people out of there quickly. I knew the answers to the questions before I arrived. We were in and out of there within maybe 30 minutes. Which is fast. Was in New York the week before it was a little over an hours waitMy only complaint is I too like a few others did not get the car I requested. In fact, it was a little beat down with a huge scratch on the side, nicks and dents all over it. Honestly, a little embarrassing as we are used to taking care of our vehicles. But I would rent from them again. The price was right, the lady at the counter was efficient and professional, and we were out of there as mentioned under 30 minutes.

Shocked and upset about the entire experience with renting car. Should have researched reviews prior to booking. Upon arrival, was told the car I reserved was unavailable. Upgrade was additional, Expedia rates are deceiving, additional ridiculous fees and they don't mention insurance coverage because they sneak this charge in after the contact is closed. So upset, I returned car early as I couldn't get out of my head how I was taken advantage of. I will NEVER use or recommend this place to anyone. Beware, read entire contract before signing, ask questions about insurance before you commit. Going back to AVIS!

The customer service sucked the lady I was actually working with was nice the other lady I'm assuming was the boss was really rude and I actually had to tell her to calm down. Customer service sucks it's almost like she was ready for a fight think her name was Adrian something like that. The company really needs to do something about her. I had rented a premium car paid for it and everything and then was told I couldn't get it and had to go with a Corolla or an SUV I'm 65 so of course I did not go with a Corolla and was charged extra. I will never use this company again and I warn you not to either. Of course some people may get through there with no problems but the majority of the time I see this company having a lot of problems they need to start with their workers first.
