Went to add a vehicle to my policy and was treated professionally and with respect. I had forgotten my mask in my other car and the representative supplied me with one. She was very polite and professional.

These people are a perfect mixture of incompetent and mean-spirited to make me want to just give up and vow never to drive again. After I got subpoena'd to testify in court about the accident, I called Fred Loya and asked requested a few documents I would need to testify. They claimed that the woman I spoke to last about my claim had since left the company (even though I recognized her voice on the answering machine, but she was going by a different name than before), and somehow she had all the legal documents from her cases stored on a personal computer that she took with her, and now none of the legal documents were accessible. After a heated phone argument, I said fine, await my subpoena for those documents, because that's a lie. Within 24 hours I received them via email, along with another document meant to scare me out of pursuing restitution from the perpetrator, their client. I think that's a great example of what I dealt with during this process, not to mention the numerous times I was yelled at over the phone, told that "I was not entitled to ANYTHING (I just want to make that clear to you, ma'am)" and passed between representatives when one of them would get annoyed with me. The kicker is that a year and a half after the accident (which I was not a part of, by the way, since the perpetrator totaled my parked car while I was asleep), Fred Loya was the single force delaying my scheduled testimony in court for several months. I swear, this company was conceived out of a sci-fi horror novel about the evil of big business. Beware of Fred Loya, run away!!!!!

they will not tell you if your car is totaled or what they will give you Unless you want to run the risk of totaling your car and continue with the claim, so one can not make an educated decision if to total or fix the car without the insurance, what a worthless system! Having a classic car worth more than my brand new BMW and Jeep and having it insured by these guys was the worst, when contacted the manager he could not be the least helpful by atleast letting me know the total of my car in case it was totaled, conpletely worthless company, moved to Hagerty for my 2 classics through an insurance agent, best thing i've done, if you'43 considering Fred Loya, run as fast as you can, a joke of a company.
