This is the worst bank I’ve ever had!!!They go thru a nightly maintenance where you cannot JUST log into your app, but you cannot access your funds. I go out and go to bars and at the end of the night my card got declined even though I have the funds, and when I call frost to see what’s going on their excuse is “we are going thru Maintenance so we cannot verify your account” it’s been TWICE in the last week that I’ve been left embarrassed and having to have someone else pay my tab cause FROST can’t get it together.WORST BANK IVE EVER HAD!!!!!

If I could give this bank a 0 I would...I would rather not give it a rating at all as they are that horrible and inept. I have written other reviews on Frost and this is a continuation of those previous reviews....my opinion has not changed. My mother passed in May, 2020. 6 months later they have STILL not settled her account, paid her bills, or funded the necessary trusts required by her will. They DO NOT return phone calls, they DO NOT answer emails, they DO NOT have any customer service what so ever. Their answer to everything, when you finally get a response is: " We sill take care of that." Oh, I know, Frost has a wonderful reputation, however, how many of these illustrious reviews have had to deal with their trust department or their "will" department. I have stated this again and I will restate my experiences with them. If your estate is worth a million dollars or less.you are NOTHING. to them. You are put on a back burner and you are constantly and consistently put off, ignored, and nothing gets done. We have now consulted an attorney. Part of the problem is that my mother was strong armed and bullied into making Frost the executor of her will...so they have the control. Our attorney's response was , "was she in her right mind to make a large corporation her executor?" My answer was, that Frost did not fully explain to her the huge fees that they would charge her estate, nor that her estate would not be settled in timely fashion. As her only daughter, only child, and heir, as a right as an heir I should have been given a copy of her will upon the will being probated....I just received my copy last night via email. And that was after 6 months , advise from an attorney, and several emails and phone calls before they responded. FYI: The will was probated the beginning of June 2020. in Kerr County. FYI: In 2009 my father had passed away and during the meeting with bank officials a NEW attorney was SUGGESTED by Frost Bank...interesting, huh? One year later, my mother changed her will with the new attorney present and the bank officials. My mother had the right to do whatever she wanted to do and she was of sound mind back then. Upon receipt of the will, my attorney and I were relieved to see that the date of the new will was in 2010 and not after I had gotten the guardianship over her in 2017. Of course, Frost is not going to make such a glaring and corrupt mistake as that. Our attorney was concerned about that fact. So that has not been an issue...why? Because Frost Bank is too smart to make obvious illegal moves. However, they are able to stall, not do their work, nor get an estate settled in a duly amount of time. Day before yesterday I was told by one bank official that a normal estate took 12-18 months to settle...a bunch of BS...which this bank has a.lot of BS to shell out. Though they think I am a d*** lackey, in the past, I have been executor of a will, I have seen large estates totaling over 100 million dollars, and estates that have been contested settled in a much shorter time. Frost Bank employs people that do not do their job. They put things off...like paying bills, like reimbursing heirs of expenses they have incurred, like paying taxes. All these things have occurred and are occurring. Frost has a legion of lawyers...being of limited finances I cannot responsibly take on litigation and have been told by attorneys that if my mother's estate had been worth $10 million or more, they believe I have a case and they would take my case in a heart beat. All I can do is complain, continue to call them, repeatedly send documents that they ask for and then they lose and we have to send them documents again, and then they do nothing with them. The latest is we had to take a loan out to pay my mother's caregivers upon her death, which I might add Frost refused to pay and then when we accounted for the times, they said, that they would get to it...never did. I believe that people should be paid for their work in a reasonable amount of time and for a reasonable amount. We

Slowest drive through ever. Waited 30-40 min for two cars. Maybe understaffed. Frustrating.

Frost I was afraid I was petrified Kept thinking I could never get cash Without going inside I should have changed that stupid PIN I should have made you leave my card If I'd have known for just one minute You'll be spending money hard This is a friendly location and we were able to get some money out, and they do charge a fee since we don't bank with them, but it was urgent and we didn't want to drive too far and traffic was really bad, so we were glad that it was here. We got the money back anyway because the people that Barbie deals with (Capital One hi) are pretty great about giving her all the money back for such ugly penny pinching transactions, but in any case we would come back here again.

I have nothing positive to say about this bank, they do not treat their customers w/respect, even the ones who have had accts w/them for yrs who have never bounced a ck once & didnt complain every time Frost came up w/yet another new charge on customer's accts for every little 'service' they could dream up & get away with. My husband has an acct here & passed away recently; his former employer made a mistake > a week ago & tfr'd $95,000 into his acct & Frost still refuses to unfreeze his acct so that they can reverse the transaction; i had gone over there to talk to them & had my husband's will naming me as the beneficiary along w/alot of other documentation proof but they said they could do nothing until i got an atty & went thru the probate process, which takes months usu, & the $95,000 s/n/b part of probate because IT ISNT OUR MONEY!! They have refused to wk w/my husbands former boss' bank, so now they are ready to sue them for fraud- for making interest on $$ that doesnt belong to them or their customers. How hard is it to unfreeze the acct & reverse the transaction??They were cold to me the whole time i was talking to them & refused to go get a higher up to talk to me. They still havent done anything to help correct the wire tfr. They are douchebags & someone needs to shine a big spotlight on them, like the troubleshooters on the news...maybe all that bad publicity will force them to take a hard look @ their unethical practices & cold treatmt of their own customers and one day become a halfway decent bank. They are douchebags!!

The 4 stars are for Frost itself. The star left over is for the rude, unprofessional teller with the bad attitude on 6.3.19 between 8:45am to 9 in the morning. I don't know her name but she didn't greet me and I used the call button because the plastic window protecting the deposit container wouldn't come down. She answered with a snarky Yes, Ma'am? I told her the situation with the window and it came down. I deposited the check and she never came back on to ask if I needed anything else or to say have a good day. My Partner does most of the deposits. Occasionally, I deposit some checks. We have been with this bank for 11yrs and have been to multiple locations without any problems. I understand that people can have a bad day or they're having problems at home or wherever and it spills over into work. I even get that you don't like all your customers. I worked in customer service for many years and I didn't like all my customers either. No matter how I felt about them I tried to treat them as I wanted to be treated. Please don't take it out on the customer, it's not usually their fault. This person with this particular transaction, is a bad representative of everything Frost has come to stand for over the years. I really hate to think she's treating anyone else this way.
