If I could give 0 starts I would. Very unprofessional place don't go here or waist time and money. I took my nuggets earrings to repair the back, I took the stem that fell off with it. I come back to pick it up the swapped me out for a FAKE earring ! My earring came back with a HOLE in the nugget. The back was turning GREEN ! then I call and lady & she says most new earrings come like that. What kind of BS !! I just needed a repair for the back and I had took the stem that fell off. Then gave me a FAKE earring like I would notice. How unprofessional..that very sad you rather have a bad review then to fix the situation.

My brief experience with Gersal Jewelers was excellent. Responsive and helpful on the phone and when I went to their shop to have my watch battery replaced their service was very quick - both in talking to me after I walked in, and the time it took to replace the battery. I don't believe the whole visit took more than 10 minutes. And the price was great @ $8.50 or so plus tax. Thats nearly half the lowest price I used to pay in L.A. San Antonio is great and I like Gersal Jewelers! I'll be going back for sure!

For Layaways don't do. Or purchases are very cheaply made. Because they keep your money if you don't want it anymore and if you decide to buy something from there they charge another fee plus another restocking fee. Since when do a whole in a wall that nearly has any business to charge a restocking fee. Yeah they charge the whole layaway payments!!! Then he discriminates handicap people. Has no sympathy for them. The owner made a statement and said I don't care who you are or what you are. And the bad thing about it is the cop on the non-emergency line told me that place is no good and to report it to BBB and to put plenty of comments out there because that place does not deserve to be open. It is a discrimination and he has no business on asking for a person to wait and listen to his history.

The worst ever!! Took my watch in for a battery and in a matter of 5 minutes managed to scratch my watch up and lose the links on it. This is why you don’t let children do work. Of course the took no responsibility for it and the kid thought everything was funny. Horrible place

They made a baby bracelet for my granddaughter. When I returned it to add links it was worse than ever. Now she can't wear it. The new jeweler did a poor job on it and they want to charge me more to fix it. I took it to another jeweler to fix it it will cost me another $100 for 2 links to be fixed to match. In 20 years this is the worst service I received. And now everything takes days or a week to get it back.

i took my engagement ring to this jeweler, I had a dent that needed to be removed and the ring needed to be polished and cleaned. i was told that the dent could be removed and the ring would be polished. I pre-paid for the services because i believed that the services I requested would be completed. When I received the ring the dent was still there and the ring had scratches indicating that they did not clean or buff the metal. I called the shop and was told that i was given wrong information and the band would need to be replaced to remove the dent and double the price. This is terrible customer service. i took my jewelry to another shop which performed the services I requested and for the less than this jewelry shop was charging.

Over the last few years I would take my jewelry to be cleaned or fixed for very reasonable prices. However I went to sell some old jewelry that I've had and the first question the owner asks me is how much I want for my jewelry. To which I replied I don't know, that's why I'm here. So then he asks how much others have offered for the jewelry. Now, this line of questioning makes me question his honesty because why wouldn't a business owner just offer a fair quote and price instead of trying to have me guess how much I would want or how much others were offering me? I mean I don't know the going price of gold and silver, I just want a fair quote. His explanation was that if someone offered $10 more for the jewelry, then he doesn't want to lose a customer. If I went to someone else for a quote, then he could tell me what he would offer per ounce or be able to resell as a piece. At that point I told him that he just lost a customer because I didn't believe that he was being honest and walked out. It's a shame because I like supporting local businesses but he was very shady about giving a quote for jewelry and he just lost a customer. I don't like feeling like I'm being swindled and that's exactly how he made me feel.
