One of the biggest jobs as a parent is to raise up a well rounded child who is able to thrive in this big world full of challenges.Girls need courage, confidence, and character to become future leaders and there is no better place than Girl Scouts to gain these qualities.All of my 4 daughters are Girl Scouts and as a mom and Troop Leader, it is wonderful to see Girl Scouts learn life long skills, expand their horizons, make solid friendships, and have so much fun.Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas is a well organized council that provides a stellar Girl Scout Program. From training to events, tutoring to STEM, community service to outdoor opportunities, their staff, their facilities, and their programming are extraordinary.I am thrilled to be part of their purpose and recommend their program to parents in the San Antonio area.

Don't let your kids join girl scouts if your child comes from a divorced home. One parent will always be left out of everything and apparently, that is their policy.Planning on reaching out at every level to get this changed. With 50% of children coming from divorced homes, it's not fair for one parent to have to miss out on everything even though a background check was done and dues were paid.

Bad experience with the Girl Scout’s of Southwest Texas. The troop 1604 we were in was horrible and disappointing for my daughter and myself. They talk bad about the parents and immature leadership. Nothing was done either. Never again! Thanks for making the Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas look bad!!

I never received my cookies I ordered. FedEx states they lost my package. I've called customer service: no answer, left messages. I've emailed numerous times: no response. Horrible customer service at both companies. FedEx states I have to get in touch with girl scouts.

My daughter has been in Girl Scouts for 7 years. UNFORTUNATELY after this year my daughter doesn’t want to be apart of Girl Scouts. Our troop didn’t do Nut sales and NOW we aren’t doing cookie sales. It’s really sad. Also last year our troop didn’t allow us to do individual booths! In the beginning it was great. STILL waiting for our cookie prizes from 2 years ago! Very disappointed in Girl Scouts!!!

Great organization, we have started a new troop and we are being so supportive with our training etc. People giving troops bad reviews have to understand that we troop volunteers are volunteers!!!!!! Love what they are helping us teach our girls in the first inclusive troop!!!!!!
