Yesterday I visited the store to buy some hydration powder for my workouts. Last night, my truck got broken into and someone stole the powder that I bought. So today I went back to the store to re-purchase what I bought yesterday. One of the employees recognized me and asked me why I was buying the same thing that I bought yesterday and I told her that my truck had gotten broken into and she said that she would buy it for me. Let me tell you that completely turned my day around. If you’re anywhere in the San Antonio area, you owe it to yourself to visit this store and experience the same amazing customer service that I did.

By far the worst GNC experience ever. When I asked Devin questions he just pointed from his register spot. I couldn’t even tell which way he was pointing making me feel like an idiot. I would have left but I was on a time crunch and really needed something. This guy needs to be fired like right now. He messed up my email that I didn’t even get a receipt and when I asked for the paper he crumbled it and threw it away. Manager should check the video it happened at around 2:20pm 9/29/24

I know this is a supplement store however not sure why these employees are dressed as if they are in underwear. Let alone the fact that their so called manager is always on the phone with her headphones in just like the employees. I guess they get hired to listen to music and talk on the phone no wonder they open whenever they want. Funny how this is a corporate store… I guess thats what GNC is promoting

Very unprofessional, no signage on door stating store hours. Web site says open at 10am .. went to store at 10:02am and it is closed.. returned at 10:45am and it was still closed.

I wanted to share my positive experience at the GNC store. I was particularly impressed by the exceptional service I received from a consultant named Jasmine.
She was incredibly knowledgeable about the products and could answer all my questions thoroughly. She took the time to understand my needs and recommend the best products for me.
I especially appreciated that she was willing to stay past her shift time to ensure I found everything I needed. This level of dedication and customer service is truly commendable.
Thanks to Jasmine's expertise and helpfulness, I left the store feeling confident about my purchases. I will definitely be returning to this GNC location in the future and recommending it to others.

Ordered a few things online for pick-up in store (at this Westover location). Got the email that says ready for pick up, so we drove there and arrived at 12:43pm. Door was locked, lights on, nobody was inside, and no store hours or notes posted on the door. Website says they're open from 11am to 6pm today. Called the store a couple of times to check, nobody picked up and no voicemail machine. Went back to the email to verify store hours and the actual website again, both stated they are supposed to be open. We left to go eat and came back an hour later, same results. Called a couple more times, nothing. WHY ON EARTH WOULD THE WEBSITE LET ME ORDER ITEMS FROM THIS STORE, EMAIL ME TO SAY THAT THE ITEMS ARE READY FOR PICK UP, AND THEN HAVE THE STORE CLOSED WITHOUT NOTICE? This is not the first time either that this kind of issue has happened at this Westover store. I'm posting this one now because I can deal with one or 2 issues, but anything past that, especially an issue like this, is not right.

Young “short” man behind the counter did not even acknowledge that 4 people walked in. Did not even pick his head up at all. He was too busy on his 2 cell phones.We were looking for a large amount of weight gain protein for our wrestling team and I guess he didn’t feel like helping anyone. He must of been too busy on his “2” phones.We asked for help and he ignored us. I asked again (bothered at this point) and he said he doesn’t need to help me and he can just stay on his phone….wth! I asked for his name and he said he refuses to give me his name. I explained (me being a business owner) that’s not a good way to be and he returned with smart a$$ response and laughed!What can I do???I think I might need to call PA corp. or talk to the franchise management/owner.Sad to see unguided young men that don’t care about customer service. ESPECIALLY when it’s somebody else’s business/investment.Maybe that’s why GNC is closing 1,200 stores nationwide wide!!NOT good for the franchise owners.

Placed an online order for same day delivery and it came incomplete. I contacted customer service, aka corporate, and long story short the rep was very dismissive and I didn't get the result I was looking for. Went in to the Westover location today and was promptly greeted by Jasmin. Not only did she resolve my issue in a very timely manner, she also seemed like she was eager to help. She is the only reason I will continue to do business with this company.

I like this store. They always have my preferred items in stock at store. I would say beware of very pushy sales man, he signed me up for the 90 day reoccurring purchase of some kind which took me several attempts to cancel. Other than that I do not have any complaints. Several times I have come into this store and two younger gentleman will listen to exactly what I want and help me get what I need, they do not push products, and I appreciate that.

It's alwats,great vitamin store, unfortunately, late,not being able to buy my Odorless Garlic 1000mg pills. What's the reason for no mdse availability? I rely on GNC to carry it,along with Women vitamins, ultra mega,no availability either. GNC is so poor in having stock availability. If Mgmt reads,and hope they do,read these comments,you're loosing customers ?.
