I have been shopping at this particular location for years and it has gone down a bit. I stopped by yesterday and always purchase Boars head select meats and deli cheese. The young lady started my order of unsalted turkey breast but disappeared to the back to grab something else that I requested due to the refrigerator area being out of order and everything being stored in the back. While waiting patiently flies were landing on the meat that she started cutting for me that was left opened on the counter. I left immediately. I will be shopping elsewhere.Please train your employees regarding safety and sanitation. I tried to contact management of course no one responded. I am wondering should I contact the health department???

This HEB is located between O'Connor and Nacogdoches. I love this HEB because it has everything I need and I don't over spend from my grocery list mission. They always have fresh new deals, they have fresh meat, and good deals on seafood. Beautiful bouquets are waiting for you at the entrance along with potted plants inside and outside, enough to fulfill any green thumb out there. Fresh sushi is made daily here and it's not bad really. I don't need to go anywhere but here to find what I'm looking for. Occasionally they have Hawaiian bread which I love and look forward to finding, and if I'm lucky the special apples I'm looking for. This place is so centrally located to most anywhere that I prefer it sometimes then getting lost at the huge Bulverde HEB, lol. Today we found all of our groceries plus a birthday cake for a very special girl! I feel fortunate to have this wonderful grocery store! Employees here are always attentive and can answer all of your concerns. The manager is a total sweetheart and can be seen helping the cashiers out, he's so down to earth that he won't hesitate to bag your groceries! You can tell everyone that works here is happy to work here too! This was my go-to grocery store during the pandemic when I would pick them up, always dependable, safe, clean and on top of their grocery updated prices, never have to get the better prices like at Walmart and they always have most of their registers open when it gets busy. Always the best prices at HEB too! You'll find me here doing my groceries because of the convenience of having Chase, McDonalds, and Little Caesars Pizza. If I'm hungry after all my grocery shopping I just stop by conveniently at any of these fast food restaurants with my kids in the car. Come check this grocery store out it's the best!

If you go to customer service do not let Jenny help you. She wasted my time. I told her what I needed help with and she went to the back and 10 minutes later she came back to me and said she's going to lunch and just left. I had to wait until I found someone else and then Renee helped me and she did a fantastic job. She helped me out right away and fixed the situation in less than 10 minutes.

The Fresh section at this HEB is keeping me within my calorie goal daily!! I just love the pinwheel salmon!! So good !!! And always fresh!!

The only reason this heb has more than 1 star is because of the people awhile back that gave it more stars because it was open 24 hrs, well not anymore!!! I have been going to this heb since 1984 and it was never as bad as it is now. The managers are awful. They are too busy flirting with young girls than helping customers. The curbside service is a joke. Why do they have 14 checkouts but only 2-4 are ever open at the same time. Their prices used to be the best now they are the worst. When you are a huge chain that has ran all other grocery stores out of San Antonio then it is only right that you continue to take care of your customers, which is exactly the opposite of what heb now does. Shame on you, heb. How far you have fallen since 'the covid'. I wish Albertsons was still in town. P.S They also are lacking in product options.
