Shameful.. Considering how most of us feel regarding HEB (so positive) we all deserve better. I understand phone lines being backed up aswell as prescriptions taking longer than expected sometimes. But the time it takes to try to reach an employee on the phone is horrendous. My husband and I both called this evening, he called first and the phone was taken off the hook after minutes of ringing, after that all he could hear for 20 MINUTES was employees chatting away. I then called to see if I could get through with zero luck even after waiting too. I can understand not answering close to closing but they didn't for another hour. The prescription was also sent to another location for absolutely no reason. After 20 minutes they picked up the phone like normal without even an apology, it seems like they think people will just give up. Believe me if we as customers are calling you it's because we can't do what we need to on the app.

I called to check on my prescription 2 months ago and was told it’s no longer made with the dosage I wanted. I stated the brand website shows they do make it and my doctor wouldn’t prescribe something that doesn’t exist. A lady took the phone from the tech and said she wasn’t going to place the order for me because she knows for a fact it’s no longer made and the website must be outdated. I switched my pharmacy and they put in an order right away and I got my medication within 2 weeks. The lady who took the phone from the tech was rude and talks down to you when asking questions. She didn’t even try to order my medication, instead she gave false information.

Horrible experience its always an issue ordering things. We called in to order a inhaler and we have been waiting on it so we called and they had the audacity to tell us they didn't order it because of the tone of our voice when they told us the price like how unprofessional can you be. I'm changing my Pharmacy asap these people don't care at all.

So my doctor ordered a kit of medication that includes amoxicillin which is 10$ max at Walmart , Lansoprazole which is 15$ at target and Clarithromycin which is 30$ at cvs , the cashier told me my insurance didn’t cover it which I am sure they should, however I asked ok so how much is it without insurance and she said 1000$ . Now someone must be messing up this order, either the H‑E‑B pharmacy or the insurance or the doctor. So all she could do is send back a message to the doctor asking for a substitute. Not sure what brings a bill up from 55$ to 1000$ for just being called a kit . Either the medical industry is so corrupt or someone doesn’t know what they are doing . H‑E‑B pharmacy check your prices or how you are reporting things to insurance something is deeply messed up.

I moved my prescriptions to H-E-B because of how bad my CVS is. The first few months were great. Service was quick. People were friendly. Very pleased. However, lately things have gotten as bad as the CVS I left. Wait times of 30 minutes plus in the drive thru. Employees act like you are an annoyance just for showing up. Today took the cake though. I called to see if I could pick up a refill today. I called once and let the phone ring for over TWELVE AND A HALF MINUTES! No answer! I called a second time and this time I got someone within a couple of minutes. Come on H-E-B! You're better than this!

My doctor called in prescriptions and HEB told me they would be ready the next day. The next day I called to find out what time they would be ready, and I was told the next day. I called that day to ask what time they would be ready, and if it typically takes 3 days to fill medications. She said if I need them sooner I could tell them that and they would be filled asap. I told her that they were suppose to be ready yesterday so I didn't understand. She got rude and said she was just going to fill them.When I went to pick them up, they weren't for 30 day supplies because of the way the script was written. My last pharmacy would automatically call the doctor's office to fix it. Frustrating experience.

I have been in customer service for over 25 years. I would not and have never treated a customer as if there time doesn't matter. I am an extremely nice and respectful Understanding person. This is what did it for me:I called this morning around 11 a.m. to refill a prescription. I was told they were backed up but that my prescription would be ready at 2:00. I arrived after 3:00 to be told by the rude clueless,and unapologetic "pharmacy tech" they needed to order my prescription. . That it will be ready in the morning. That would have been fine had I been told that over the phone. They could have even called before arriving. I told her what was told to me about being ready at 2:00. She then asked me for my name again, glazed over while fiddling with the computer, smirked and uttered the same words, lt has to be ordered". No apologies, no empathy at all in her voice.I believe every bit of what she said was a LIE. They either got backed up and forgot. To lazy to fill the order, maybe even to early for my prescription to be refilled. Either way like I stated above I'm very respectful and very understanding until I'm blatenly lied to. I would not have a problem if that was told to me in the beginning phone conversation or even a phone call before arriving.I am on a fixed income, legally blind and normally in alot of pain. With that said I usually have to take a ride share. I do not have the money or energy to go back and forth to an INCOMPETENT pharmacy that does not value the customer, or that can't even pick up a phone. Do better HEB pharmacy!!! BTW: The male pharmacy tech that works there is always extremely nice and professional, maybe he could teach the others.

I don’t think I’ve ever reviewed a pharmacy but I had to. This pharmacy has always shown extreme patience with me and have been a complete joy to work with. They’re always helpful and answer my many questions. Keep being great and helping people out like me, it truly helps.
