Witnessed a horrible employee. I was in at the 25 items check out line AROUND 1:10 pm where there is one person helping to check out both lanes. There was an older man who was STRUGGLING to scan the items. Rather than the employee taking over and helping this man with an obvious disability, she was too busy laughing and giggling with her coworkers to notice. The other people around us tried to help him. Then line kept growing and the employee NEVER WENT OVER TO TRY AND SCAN THE ITEMS. Eventually the man GRABBED ALL HIS THINGS AND WENT TO ANOTHER REGISTER BECAUSE NO ONE PERSON TRIED RO HELP HIM. l ended up asking him if he needed help. Me and the other person next to me were visibly upset by this employee. When I was checking out, I mentioned to her that he was struggling a lot and moved to another register. She then LAUGHED OUT LOUD AND SAID “oh yeah he kept scanning the same item like 10 time hahahaha” like ??? So she was aware but didn’t help? And then I told her “well he was struggling for a while maybe you shouldn’t be talking to your coworkers” and she said “oh I didn’t see him!!!” Like what??? How does that make sense?? ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR BY THIS EMPLOYEE. not only did she NOT care, She continued her chat without actually helping anyone. Oh and when I mentioned he need help she said “oh I asked he didn’t want it hahaha” like ok then just step in??? just horrible horrible. I hope someone checks the cameras and see this. DISGUSTING H-E-B. DO BETTER HELPING THE DISABLED FOLKS

Extremely unprofessional male pharmacy staff in drive thru. I was with my elderly mom today to pick up her prescriptions & they kept my bank card (I pay for her prescriptions). We had to get back in the long line. We called to let them know & a female employee said yes sorry he didn't give it back we have it at window for you. When it was our turn the man said he didn't know what she was talking about . She said you forgot to give me my card back . He cut her off and said I DIDNT'T FORGET TO GIVE YPU ANYTHING I JUST GOT HERE! My mom said well it was another male. He said well he's still training . Then told my mom it's your bday & started singing her Happy Birthday. My mom and I were like what is he even talking about and he just laughed . So weird behavior for a mistake on their part. Rude & Unprofessional behavior for HEB. He needs more training.
