Today I purchased a package of HEB original thick sliced bacon. I cook my bacon in a 400 degree oven on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper with a cook time of 20 to 25 minutes. Until recently, I have been very satisfied with the quality of the product. However, today the thick sliced bacon i purchased was closer to thin sliced bacon and when cooked, shrunk to half the size of the original product. I sincerely hope this is an isolated outcome and that HEB is not sacrificing quality in order to maintain pricing.

Just wanted to come on here and share my positive experience, we did a pick up order and there was a problem with one of the products we got. And the employee (Lexie) who brought the groceries out went back in and was super nice and understanding about the mixup and brought the right one out to us. I am so happy we had a positive interaction. Great job Lexie😊

This has been the main heb that I have used since I was a kid. I have never had any issues. Today, I had to visit customer service because an HEB brand laundry detergent that I bought leaked out all over my entire trunk on the way home. I bought it at another HEB but came here to exchange it since it is HEB brand and the other HEB I used was out of the way. The older woman who helped me at customer services said “we cannot help you here. You have to return it to the HEB you bought it from or else I have to take the loss on it.” I said “the other HEB was out of my way and this is an HEB brand product. Is there a manger that could help?” She then said “I am the manager and I can do it for you but then my store would have to lose out on the money.” WHAT?!? It was $9! I was being so understanding but it was THEIR product.

Horrible experience today. If I wanted to work for HEB I would apply for a job. At least give a discount if I have to bag my own groceries while a line forms behind me. Saw 2 managers. One was catching up with a co-worker and the other walking up and down the check out line trying to look busy. We know what trying to look busy is. Don’t make it obvious next time and at least help bag groceries. Some managers have that superiority in their head and think they do not need to help. FYI YOU DO NEED TO HELP YOUR TEAM!!!!!

Normally HEB is great to shop at for all sorts of supplies, and the people tend to be very nice. But for some reason, today, no less than 6 HEB employees cut me off as I was walking through the store. They each pretended not to notice that my wife and I were already walking through the space. Hopefully their management talks to them about being more considerate to customers walking through the store.
