Terrible service from the employees. You ask them about something and they don't offer you help, especially the vegetable department.

I have been a customer at this HEB the last 7 years. I spend over 600 a month here for my household and my mother whom has cancer. Today I went in with my husband to grab her a few items because she was ill due to chemo and was racially profiled. A cashier by the name of Brandon who is not new to his job at all (he's worked there years) had requested my husband's ID as normal for cigarettes and as my husband was bagging our groceries to help him he proceeded to ask me for my ID because I was using my husband's card. I asked how long had this been a process because he literally just ID'd my husband and knew it matched the name on the card. I have always came and use my husband's card providing the correct pin and have never been asked for my ID. He literally also watched my husband hand it to me. He proceeded to call his manager over which caused further embarrassment who advised him that I could make my purchase as normal. You all do not have to worry about me ever going back to this store again and will transfer all of my mother's meds to the location on wurzbach where I am treat with respect and my money was just as good as every other persons. This was also recorded and I will upload it and share it and make sure that people who look like me do not come here. This cashier was eye rolling and making faces at the customer's before me and clearly has an attitude problem. The manager provided zero apology for his cashier's actions.
***Update*** Called and spoke to an MIC who was empathetic and reassuring that my concerns would be addressed.

Now y'all made a one way door that closes at 9. Like what is the point, and it's being locked at 8:57pm. Come you guys just change the signage.
Why do you close the pharmacy door at 8:50 when it says it closes at 9? Very annoying.
Again I came before 11pm and the security hassled me because it was 2 mins before closing I only needed one item.
Just don't come here.

Go to the location on Babcock or even Wurzbach for better Customer Service, More Brand Variety Selections, Nicer Staff and Fresher Produce. EVERYTIME I return I regret it. UNCOMFORTABLE.
