All day shoppppppppiiiinnnnggggg La Cantera is nestled on the northwest side of San Antonio just off 1604 & I-10. I entered from the north side of the shops which included a view of the Six Flags quarry and La Cantera resort. After finding a parking spot near Nordstorm's, I set on my adventure to find a specific dress. What I didn't realize is how spread out the center is in the area. When I parked, I wondered how I was going to get to Macy's from Nord. Thank goodness for good walking shoes. I spent the day hitting the anchors - Macys, Dillard, Neiman's, Nordstrom - plus Clarks, Chicos, and places in-between. I really should have pulled up a map, but did enjoy wondering what was around the corner - to find little surprises like Warby Parker & Kendra. Why 4 stars? Because I didn't have a map, I didn't naturally see where to get a snack. I do believe that some restaurants are on the outside and I vaguely remember a few drink options and a candy spot. Next time, I should pay attention to food signage (that I don't recall seeing). It also gets 4 stars for the parking...it was difficult and it was not a holiday weekend. I do not know what the solution is, but I am sure there is an engineer out there - she has a solution! I really enjoyed this shopping adventure.

Not friendly shopping area. Crowded, hard to find parking, lots of understaffed stores, expensive for what they offer. Irrelevant merchants.

Nice shops, but you would have better luck finding nicer bathrooms at a road side truck stop.

Always a great experience especially the LV store. Always in stock merchandise for last minute gifts!! The LV store has been one of the best places to shop for me over the last few years. Employees are always warm and welcoming!!

Beautiful outdoor mall. Some common areas need a refresh. A unique small venue entertainment concept would bring new life to the destination.

I totally love going there. Even if I’m not shopping I enjoy the walk through the park feeling. The just right music they have & the smells coming from the shops. It’s just a pleasant place to hang out & just relax while people watching.

Upscale, huge outdoor mall. There are countless stores for just about anything anyone could ever need. The atmosphere is definitely 100% better than being inside an enormous building, breathing recycled air, and feeling cramped and clostrophobic, like in a regular mall. The only complaint I have, and it's really not that big of a deal, are the massive amounts of children running around, seemingly without supervision and doing whatever they want. I really wish parents would utilize those leashes that are made for kids and actually discipline their own children when they are acting a fool in public.

I went to Zales to have my jewelry cleaned and inspected. I don't go to La Cantera often, but it was nice to walk around and go into different stores with my husband and Granddaughter. It seemed a little busy, but everyone was shopping and minding their own business. Nice environment!! ??

The entire area of La Cantera is beautiful, full of life, rolling hills ..high end shopping with exquisite stores and dining options galore. They have outdoor bars and cantinas where you can order a drink and legally walk around with open containers on site of the shops, for those who enjoy alcohol. The "Hill country" location is what makes it even better . It's right next-door to a Tier 1-University, UTSA, and backs up to the San Antonio Spurs world training headquarters compound and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Lots of young professionals ,college students, as well as professional athletes and families frequent here. The area is booming with development like never seen before. Parking, like any big city , can be very hard to find on busy days. This is San Antonio's version of the Domain in Austin; This is San Antonio's version of the Galleria in Houston. And I've got to say San Antonio is finally holding his own.

Super nice. First time there. Big and outdoor. Lots of shops. No real food court and everything is outdoors. Will go again when in San Antonio

Great for outdoor strolls! Plenty of shops to choose from. I do wish they had more options for quick meals besides Chick-fil-A. I don't always need a sit down restaurant. I wish they had a small food court. Love the atmosphere!
