Most times, the customer service at the Fair Ave store is very good. Unfortunately, this past weekend...ran across one worker who totally ignore my request for help and she continued on to the service desk. Sunday...was asking a man who was in millwork for assistance and he told me to go and look for someone with two orange flags? When I shared with the assistant manager, he lied right in front of me. I called twice this week to ask the General Manager Mark R. to reach out to me so I could provide feedback and never got a call back. Disappointing to say the least....perhaps that example is why some of their team doesn't show the customer support as others.

Had a great experience with TONY at this Home Depot. Looking for a peg that has been missing in a cabinet for some time. He assisted me find the aisle (I get overwelmed in this store) and troubleshoot when I could not find the exact one I THOUGHT I needed but indeed did not. Went home worked perfectly. Loved that he took the time to help me figure out what I needed.

I am really disappointed with this store they schedule a delivery for Friday 16th and for some reason they re scheduled for Saturday 17th, now they delivery only 340 of 450 sheets of drywall. I have 5 people and a lift (because is a two story house) waiting to put everything inside the house Customer service couldn't fix anything by the phone about the missing 110 pieces of drywall and theu just said call back on Monday I am loosing $1000 on people and machine just because the incompetence of the Fair Abe Home Depot storeNow is Tuesday and Home Depot they best answer is that they are going to delivery the missing drywall until Thursday or cancel the order I don't understand how do they hire people that don't care about customer

Literally worst service ever. Home Depot spends millions of dollars on advertising about how helpful employees are when they are quite the opposite. When we asked an employee who his manager was he simply said "I don't know" and closed off the hallway we asked to go through and said to go around. I'm conclusion their employees were no help at all with no manners.

Went by store today at 1 pm to pickup items ordered online. There was a long line at Pickup, and 2 staffers were standing around laughing chatting, then they started to box and tape wrap an items from earlier transaction. Then they decided to ask if we need help. RUDE. I would tell Home Depot managers to Train your associates that when customers are waiting in line to be helped that IS NOT the time to box and tape wrap some other returned item. That can be done when it is slow or there no customers in line. It is downright rude and inconsiderate, that customers can see while we are waiting that an associate is taking time to box and tape a product from an earlier transaction, rather than helping a customer in line. Really bad form, bad policy, bad customer service. And tell your staffers not to be standing around, laughing chatting when there are customers in line to be HELPES!

This is a really nice but smaller Home Depot location. If you are looking to do a big project and need a wide variety of items, I don't think this is the location for you. I usually visit this Home Depot when I only need a couple items and don't feel like fighting the crowds at the Home Depot over at Sunset. The staff has always been super nice and been able to find everything I need. I also highly recommend using their website to check if they have your items ahead of time. You can also buy them through the website and pick them up at one of their lockers.

This Home Depot Doesn't even deserve one star. The entire store (it seems) was unwilling to help with my purchase. I'm a single mother just trying to build my daughter a loft in our room and I found lumber on sale. I was beyond grateful and happy at the thought of being able save some money on my project. Well the lumber was too big for my vehicle. I asked if I could get it cut in store, they refused to because it was discounted lumber. I went to to pay for it and ask if they would do a will-call just to give me a chance to get a different vehicle in which it would fit. The manager Patrick and another female manager (I cannot recall her name) refused. I was purchasing two pieces of lumber only not a whole bunch. I wasn't taking advantage of this sale or taking more than I needed. I don't know why THIS location refused to help in any way. How is an ordinary (nonprofessional) customer supposed to feel welcome at Home Depot if it seems as though there are all these policies that make it difficult for us to benefit from such discounts or even to receive helpful customer service. This is an isolated incident at this location only. This is my first review

when looking for one thing for your house I know I can get it at Home Depot. Needed lights for my ceiling fans went to Walmart did not have them also went to H‑E‑B did not have them when I knew I just should have went to Home Depot

Hadn't been to this Home Depot in forever. All I have to say is that Colton, in the doors and windows department, was of great wonderful help and patient with me. Which made by shopping experience very smooth. Thanks Colton, you are awesome!

#DiscoverCard dispute #53335999RM with #HomeDepot started with my purchase of some carpet on 10/19/2020 at 03:04 pm. I drove off with the carpet on my way to have it installed I was inform that this carpet would not be acceptable so within that same hour I was back at Home Depot looking to return it back. I have video and audio of my conversation with store manager Mr. Cisco Alonso who refuses to refund my purchase carpet. As you can see on my Home Depot receipt there is NO where on this receipt informing me the customer that I could not return carpet that has been cut by them not me. And you will see and hear store manager Mr. Cisco Alonso say in his own words that the store does not have it posted anywhere a customer could have seen it to read it. Mr. Cisco Alonso own words " We have this policy posted on line & not in the store." youtu.be/-fhEBdeSInkI did not purchases the carpet online; I purchased the carpet in the store.

Just need to say that I am so pleased with my visit to Home Depot. A very helpful employee named Margarita was so helpful. She did not give up on finding the item we were looking for. She went above and beyond and I really appreciate her for that. Wish all employees were that helpful and so nice. My husband had someone helping him look for the same item and he said that they didn't hVe it and that we had to go to another Home Depot across town....... so I just want to say THANK YOU Margarita!

Do not recommend these guys. They've let this COVID outbreak make them so crazy that now something as simple as a mask is warranted for poor customer service. Better off going to a small business like Cobbs Building Materials off of New Braunfels. They're considerate and courteous with prices you can't beat for quality material.
