I took my daughter here because I used them decades ago for my sons. I will start with the good and say that my daughter did show an increase in her math scores, but her reading did not increase.
She enjoyed this place but she didn't like that they constantly changed her teacher out. She could never get comfortable with one teacher. I guess that's their strategy to keep the child focused or something. I have no idea.
A few times my daughter ended up getting some weird person who made her feel uncomfortable and that person constantly stared at her. She said they were totally creepy. When I spoke to the admins about it they tried to say it was because that person was stern and I mentioned that when the another person was stern my daughter told me they were but she never told me the other person made her feel uncomfortable.
Thankfully they gave her another teacher and she was able to focus and thrive. I definitely appreciate how they did not try to force my child to learn in what I would call a hostile environment. In fact, I don't know what happened to that person but about two sessions after they made the switch we didn't see that person again thankfully. Idk if they were terminated or relocated but they were no longer there so I figured we must not have been the only ones complaining.
I will be going back soon and I really hope her old tutors are still there. I wish they had a quiet room in the back where parents who aren't using the services could go and read a book or work on their homework if they're in school instead of the few chairs available up front (with no desks) for them to sit. Parham library is close though and there is a nail
Shop and places to eat though for those who may want to kill time while waiting.

Got the chapter 7 bankruptcy notice in the mail today. Liquidation. Can’t even file a proof of claim. Thomas Keith Rice owned the local franchise. Case number is 24-51106-mmp.

Went there for a month and put of the blue saw a sign saying bankrupt. No email, no notification. They steal your money. Organization did not assist in any way of finding help to deal with issue.

Took full payment upfront and then closed. I’m out $21,000. Was told to call their lawyer.

This place went bankruptcy without notice to parents and no one from the corporate has reached out to us not answering the phone. My son has half of his hours unused as the cost was paid upfront. They don’t care about the kids or family who trusted their time and money with this company, clearly.

Our family had a great experience with Huntington! Our daughter with ADHD and generalized anxiety was struggling to read and was failing several classes. Within a few months of tutoring, we saw great improvement in her confidence and ability to read. Nine months later, she has straight As and enjoys going to school! Has been such a blessing.

We have had the best experience here. My high school daughter received SAT tutoring as well as AP statistics, tutoring, and both have been phenomenal. I highly recommend trying this company out before you go any place else

I have enrolled both my sons in tutoring and SAT Prep. It was well worth the investment, and I highly recommend. All the staff are helpful and knowledgeable, and tutors are qualified and experienced. First son received full academic scholarship to a top school and second one is applying now, with an even higher score than his brother. Great experience.

What a waste of $3000. I signed up my daughter for their "customized" ACT/SAT prep. There was a discount to buy a package of 40 hours which they told me if I didn't end up needing all the hours, I could have the rest refunded. First off they spent most of the first sessions going over the areas where my daughter didn't need help and didn't consult us on which subjects they would hit first. They never even addressed her main problem of timing. There was no test taking strategizing tutoring. I finally bought her the test prep books from the Official ACT guide and those did more for her than the 30 plus hours of tutoring she had. Now they won't refund me for the hours she didn't use because the fine print says if you want a refund for unused hours they charge you non discounted price for used hours so you are just out of luck. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Wasted a lot of $$ and didn't help raise daughter's test scores. She learned more from ordered books off the Internet.
