We think this is an outstanding business from top to bottom. Many thanks to Raymond, Gina, Goldie and the super technicians that installed our RV furniture from Brad and Hall. These great folks worked with us for six months to get our furniture from Indiana to Texas.. They always answered our numerous questions with courtesy and professionalism. When our furniture arrived, they were able to install it by doing a lot of lifting, bolting, unbolting and moving. They were even able to give us power for our passenger seat/recliner! We could never have done this ourself as many RVers like to boast. This is not our first time using Iron Horse RV and it will certainly not be our last. Thank you Iron Horse for our beautiful and comfortable RV furniture! Definitely a 5 star effort!!

I used to think this place was the best place to have my RV serviced, but after finding out today that they charge 32 dollars for a State inspection, is insane!!!The fee is for a safety inspection set my the State!!! This guy is wrong, I will no longer give my business to this place!!Shop supplie fee what a joke.Check headlights, turn signals, wiper blades, etc etc.Good riddance.

Had service done here and it was the worst place I've been to for my 5th. Shoot, they wanted to change my rear lights at hundreds of dollars and all it took was pushing the 7point in farther. Also, asked if anyone might have turned in my Dewalt cordless 20v air compressor to the lost and found, seems like it grew legs and jumped out of my 5th and ran off. They use the ole line, not responsible for items in the unit, but how do we empty our home!?!? Trust is a must and they don't have mine, not now or ever. Stay clear like the plague. Use ONLY in emergencies

Highly recommend this RV Repair shop. We were travelling through and experienced a slideout failure on our motorhome while travelling back to Canada. Even though they were fully booked, they managed to fit us in, get our part overnighted from the Mfg and fixed it the next day. Gina at the service counter was the best. Their highly experienced technicians made the experience great.?????

We had a propane leak in our Class B van during our 3 month trip. I called them when they opened on Monday morning and they prioritized our RV and fixed the leak. Awesome customer service and very professional and prompt! Highly recommend this business.

Took my bus in for some basic repairs on 1st visit.* "Fix the aqua hot"I go back to pick up my fixed unit but the electric element was never replaced. And you better believe they charged me labor for fixing what should have been fixed the first time. Epitome of "half way."* "fix the awnings"Arrive a few hours away and the corner pieces where never secured, so cloth coming out again. Half way repair. They charged me labor to finish the job upon second visit.* fix the air level systemThey diagnosed the issue and did repair. Could not complete until my return visit, which was why I went back to begin with.* service the engine and generatorThey did service the engine, but neglected the generator. "When you bring it back, we will do that too, sorry."* "can u install these batteries for me?"Sure thing.....except the lady agreed to something the store has a policy against. Thankfully they honored her word on that particular issue and resolved.SECOND VISIT:My coach was with them for I think a month or better as they finished up the several issues....I head back to pick up and as I'm leaving, I put the bus in park in order to hook up my tow car. But the bus is still moving while in park!I honk my horn and eventually the guys staring at me come to the window. I explain the brakes are not working (even tho I had requested in my initial in person walkthrough that the tires/brakes be checked before our long trip.) sadly, I didn't put that one in my several emails and they deny I ever said or requested it. #convenient (I then insisted all further communication be via email for their accountability moving forward.)Anyway - I yell out the window that the brakes don't work and the mechanic says "well it ain't supposed to do that." Insert blank stare. So not only did they not check - apparently no one noticed the brake issue while driving the rv back and forth from the shop to the parking lot several times. That blows my mind.... But maybe we let that slide. Everything else has been half way so this shouldn't surprise me…but benefit of the doubt: MAYBE it didn’t break until I drove it off the lot and there’s no way anyone else could have noticed.THREE MONTHS LATER:It took a while for the parts to arrive to their credit, communication is at least clear by this point. But I left the shop and drove to tyler, tx. When I parked I noticed oil leaking from my tire. I immediately head to a new shop and as you can see, iron horse put new calipers, brakes, drums, etc but REUSED THE OLD SEALS! ? My coach could have caught fire. My wife and daughter who live here full time could have been injured - all because of half way work. Now my brakes and calipers must be replaced due to oil and heat marks from insufficient work. I’ve only made it a few hours away and I’m having to pay for a whole job to be done over again. As full time missionaries - this hurts. If you need basic stuff that is easy to inspect / iron horse is your shop. If you need important stuff done all the way, my current take is: run.Either they're incompetent or dishonest. I hope it's just some bad mechanics...the owner seemed like a man of integrity. San Antonio doesn’t have many places, so if you go to iron horse, ask to talk specifically to Raymond. He knows what he’s talking about.Addendum: zero exaggeration here. At best, I didn’t include every detail. If you read this review and need a good recommendation, shoot me a message for quality recommendations.Take out every other detail except the tire work…and you’d still be left with problems. BTW - 3 truck shops quoted me the same job for a third of the price and 1/10 of the time. If it had been safe to drive, I could have saved a pile of cash.

I have a grooming trailer small compare to an RV, first they lied before I made an appointment saying they can add an additional AC, second for my generator oil change they charged me $300 just for that something that I could do myself and then told me they don’t do the AC job. If you’re looking for someone HONEST and reasonable price do NOT use them they only about the money. You wouldn’t like a dishonest business to fix your property. I will NEVER use them again. Not worth the price! Stay away from them if you are trying to save money!Services: Air conditioning

We are women, traveling alone, and discovered, the second day into our trip, that we had no hot water from the AquaHot, in my brand new Entegra Reatta XL. After spending two hours on the phone with Entegra Customer Service, and running several tests, at the direction of the service representative, it was determined that our issue was mechanical. We were referred to Ironhorse RV, in San Antonio as they are a certified AquaHot service center. We spoke with Gina, who was extremely helpful and arranged their schedule to accommodate us as we were to arrive in San Antonio. We arrived before they opened and they moved our coach right into position to get right on addressing the issue. In addition to the AquaHot issue, I let them know that I had had an issue with my utility trailer, in that the wiring had somehow gotten shredded during our drive and we’re completely inoperable, making us illegal. We had also gotten a message on our dash, the night before, while driving from Dallas, that we had an overheated tire, warning us to stop immediately. We wound up spending the night in the HEB parking lot, on the south side of Austin so the tire could cool down completely. After explaining all of this, they immediately put three different techs on my coach and had all three issues wrapped up and corrected before 11:30AM, and sent us on our way.Bottom line, Ironhorse RV, and their entire crew, are the nicest, most professional, and talented, not to mention caring group of people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with.I am so very grateful and appreciative for their help and I wouldn’t hesitate to go to them for all of my RV needs!! I only wish they had a branch back at home!!!Thank you all for all of your help and kindness!!!Service: Brakes

I researched trying to find a shop that was knowledgeable about Monaco Coaches. I was informed that Iron Horse was a service center for Monaco at some point. I had the slide cylinders repaired which necessitated removing the slides from my coach. They also repaired my exhaust brake. During the troubleshooting process they discovered some”creative wiring” a previous owner had done. This required the dashboard and side console to be removed from rewiring. Overall I am very pleased with the results and the cost of the repairs. That is a rare condition nowadays!!Services: Steering & suspension repair

Just picked my Class A RV up after service. Several things were needed and also had a stabilizer bar installed. The entire experience was outstanding! They are very professional and friendly. Gina, my superb service manager, listened to my concerns and kept me informed all along the way. She is so very courteous and explained everything. I appreciate that they finished the work before I expected it. Overall I definitely feel they provided five star service. Thank you Iron Horse Specialists!
