I generally do not feel compelled to leave reviews, unless there is an impact. Usually it’s for a positive impact. Unfortunately I must say I was very disappointed in the behavior of the staff here. I walked through the store and encountered four different employees in the store. All working the floor and not one single employee acknowledged me, asked me if I needed help, or even gave me the time of day. I even tried on a jacket in front of two employees, and neither of them even looked my way. I was going to buy quite a few things, but was so discouraged I left the store. My though in any business is to engage with the customer and build relationships so that they trust and feel comfortable purchasing things. I would go to a different J.Crew to order the same things I saw in that specific store because I would not want to buy anything from a store that does not acknowledge the valued customer that they had in that store. I suggest that this specific store does some training with their employees.

Had placed an order online for a scarf in December for a secret Santa gift for work. The gift needed to be a certain price or less so it was perfect! Went in to pick up the item the day before the email said it would be returned if not picked up. They told me that the item was not there and it must have gotten returned back. I was upset because according to the email, that shouldn’t have been the case. Got a call today in February if I was going to come pick up my order from December….I guess the item had been there and was maybe overlooked. I understand mistakes happen but wish they would have been more accommodating for the mistake when I had gone in. Like maybe help me get another scarf in the same price range. Instead they were just like well the ones there are what we have, sorry. Pretty disappointed in the online ordering experience.

The store staff is not friendly nor gracious. She kept asking me my name and let me repeat 3 times while I was picking up my online order. Then she asked to check my ID and ignored my online order details on my phone. Lady, you could have just asked for the ID first instead of waisting time. The lack of greeting and effort on offering help is the biggest problem I have with J.Crew! I’m not giving them business anymore.

I went in to browse after all the holiday Kaos on a Thursday evening. It was nice and quiet in the store that night and only planned to "window shop." I had a kind young lady ask if she could prepare a dressing room for me, for the items I had in hand. She had happened to be one of the Managers, she was so nice & kind and made my experience that evening a great one! I walked out with some purchases and even went back for additional items the today. Julie, Thank you for making me feel so welcomed at your store.

Lovely place, didn't purchase anything but the cashier was kind enough to inform if you have a gift voucher or code for your birthday from j crew you cannot use it at j crew factory.
