BIGGEST MISTAKE!! I brought my car here after getting rear ended, and they took my car, wrote an estimate, wrote supplements, and got their price higher than the 8k my car is worth!
THEY DIDNT BOTHER TELLING ME IT WAS TOTALED!
I found out by calling them the day before it was to be picked up fixed, only to find out not only was it not fixed, and written as a total loss, but they were keeping 2k out of the 3.3k the insurance initially sent, which now the insurance has deducted off the settlement cost for me.
Their explanation? They had to pay the tech to remove the rear pieces, and put the exact same pieces back on unfixed COSTS 2000$!!
Now I can’t fix my car cause of these crooks! Never again. Here’s a pic of the only damage to my car….is this a total loss?!

It's been about 6 months since I had work done to my car. They repainted both bumpers and re-cleared the hood, roof, and quarter panels. Overall sloppy work. They messed my hood up pretty badly. The front bumper had a part sticking way out, the roof rack covers were put on backwards (sticking up oddly), there was over spray on the glass moon roof and plastic panels under the hood. They chipped my roof paint while removing the antenna, they cleared over the chips and didn't fix the scratched up antenna. When I initially received the car back I had them fix a run in the clear coat, they fixed it, but left a spot un-polished near the run. I didn't bother taking it back to fix the hood, plus a few other issues for fear they would make it worse. The hood has dull spots and sanding marks in it. Like they sanded the old clear coat with coarse paper, then shot the clear over it. For $5600 and a 6 week wait time I'm pretty disappointed.
1 year update, every time I wash and wax my car, I get to admire how bad the hood looks. Now shopping around for a better shop to fix it.

Communication is poor. And you can't leave voice messages cuz they are voice messages are full. Don't know anyone's last name so can do an automated voice mail by last name. My car was supposed to be ready by Friday and it's Friday and still no updates. Would not recommend this body shop at all. After picking up my vehicle, paint didn't match, rear wiper was put on upside-down, so it cleans my license plate not my rear window. They left stains of grease on the paint. Didn't replace the rubber seal on tailgate. The left trash in my car. The tailgate doesn't latch on correctly. I had already returned my rental. They did however pay for a 2 day rental. They also forgot to remove plastic off of the tail pipe. So it was burning . Smelled like fire for weeks. They have not installed on my emblems.

STOP!!!
Save yourself the headache!
Find another collision center. I switched repair shops when other collision center said it would be a month. Big mistake. Got repairs done fast but then a few weeks after find out they taped parts back onto the car. This Texas heat doesn't take kind to tape no matter three brand. Now it's been weeks and still waiting for the right parts then oh they forgot the clips. If a few months I'm sure I'll find another piece of trim dangling off our car. The piece of trim that fell off our car is from the driver side door that was not part of the accident....but they removed to blend in the paint.
Did I mention they stole my wifes keychain given to her by her dead sister. They blamed me for removing it.
You can't make this stuff up. I give them an extra star for always answering the phone only to tell me not today but call tomorrow. About 2 weeks now.

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING!!!!! When I got into my accident I thought this collusion shop would know how to do the job and take care of my car, they were the complete opposite. It took them a week just to rule it totaled and when it came down for me to get my vehicle back they took 3 days just to try and put my bumper back together but never could. When we got there my vehicle looked worse then when we left it and they gave me my bumper back scratched. When we asked why they just kept saying “I got to talk to my guy about it.” We asked if we can zip tie the bumper to car because we had nothing to take it with us, the guy said “we don’t carry zip ties, there not allowed in body shops bro” (my bumper and trunk has zip ties ALL OVER THE PLACE!) my trunk was held down by a zip tie and, one of the techs gave us a whole bag of them to use to put back my bumper back on. When we finally brought it back home we managed to put the bumper back on in LESS THAN HALF A DAY! We did what a certified body mechanic couldn’t do in a whole week, we did in a couple of hours. They continued to give us the run around on everything and seems like they never even attempt to fix the problem. They said they will call us to keep us updated, they never did we had to keep calling them. Do not go here, they will not take care of you and you may have to do their job because they can’t, like we did. I put the photos of the day of the accident and the day we picked up the car from JD collision and how we managed to fix it the same night we got it back.
My advice make sure you go and look at your vehicle periodically and the job their doing, get a clear answer and make sure there keeping your cars in good condition.

Easy to work with, thoroughly explained all I needed to know, and pretty quick with the repairs. I would recommend them to anyone needing repairs, both mechanical and body.

Nice guys, but I feel like they don’t know what they’re doing. Since i got my car fixed here, i’ve had to return for things that they missed or screwed up during the repair. 1- noise in my back wheels, 2- painted on the trim, 3- lights that suddenly stopped working after they made repairs. They gladly made repairs every time, but i found that the mistakes that occurred should have never been made if they were real pros. Also, my insurance only covered a rental during the initial repairs, so i had to ask people for rides and take ubers every time i returned for repairs- which was a waste of time and money. Would not recommend.

I wasn't very happy with the services here I was recommended. But I wish 100% I would of gone to the other JD collision off of 90 instead of this location. But it is what it is.

I recently had a dreadful experience at JD Collision Express located at 121 Garner St, San Antonio, TX 78237. My 2019 Honda Accord required repairs due to hail and wind damage, along with brake system issues caused by flash flooding. The ordeal began with my daughter dropping off the car and communicating my request for contact upon damage assessment. This was the first of many red flags, as I never received a call, email, or text regarding the assessment. When I finally reached out to their representative, Alex, I was met with a lack of automotive repair knowledge. To make matters worse, the estimate had already been submitted to Progressive insurance without my consent or review.A second red flag emerged when I asked for a review of the repairs planned for my vehicle. During the meeting, the JD representative asked me to identify damages myself by circling them on my own car. This left me flabbergasted - I was essentially asked to perform their job for them. While marking the damages, the representative expressed uncertainty about whether these were storm-related and promised to confirm with Progressive's coverage. The third red flag manifested when my Honda's notifications alerted me about excessive speed and hard braking. I promptly informed Alex, explaining that my car was being driven improperly. Shockingly, his response revealed that it was common practice for them to drive customers' cars in such a manner - an unacceptable and concerning revelation. The fourth red flag was raised when I discovered that my car had been driven to a separate hail damage repair shop. To my dismay, I received notifications that my car had reached 83 mph for a minute and then experienced a sudden, aggressive brake on a short road segment. This strongly suggested that someone had been mistreating my car, especially considering it has a turbocharger. When I brought up this issue with Alex, he promptly shifted the blame to a subcontractor. My concerns escalated further when I called for an update on my car's status, and Alex assured me it would be ready at 4, only for it to remain undelivered. Another representative, Pablo, took over and, astonishingly, dismissed my complaints about unauthorized joyriding that had added over 80 miles to my vehicle. He dispassionately stated that their recklessness was not his concern.Upon inspection, my car was returned covered in dirt, obscuring my ability to verify if all repairs were completed satisfactorily. Upon arriving home, I was horrified to find that my Honda badges were missing, the final blow to my already disastrous experience. In conclusion, I vehemently advise against utilizing JD Collision Express for your repairs. My appalling encounter with their ineptitude, disregard for customer concerns, reckless joyriding, and apparent lack of professionalism has left me utterly disillusioned. Don't allow your insurance company to lead you astray by recommending this establishment. This has been an utterly disappointing and infuriating ordeal that I would never wish upon anyone.

Our 2022 Mercedes GLE350 had some front end damage from a small accident, progressive recommended JD Collision to get our car fixed and back on the road. (I’m probably spelling his name wrong) But Ryker was our advisor and he personally made sure that our vehicle was fixed to the best condition possible, he gave us weekly updates and made the process super smooth. There was only a few things that needed attention after the original repairs were done, but they paid for our rental and the car came out looking absolutely stunning! I would Recommend them 100% There are some before and after pics in this review I suggest checking them out!
