A hole in my roof caused by the last hail storm, didnt realize until it was too late, my kids were trapped in the room getting flooded, Jose came the same night and fixed the roof, rescued my kids, and took us shopping out of the kindness of his heart. just asked me to promote his business. And i can honestly say i wouldnt be standing here today without him. Thank god for lonestar roofing

What a wonderful company to work with!!! After a previous contractor destroyed my home and walk off the renovation job, everyone at Lone Star Roofing and Construction came to the rescue. They repaired the damage and completed the renovation beyond our expectations. We can't thank them enough... they were truly a Godsend!!!

Lone Star Roofing & Construction provided a superb group of employees and subcontractors to repair lightning damage to our house and paint the exterior. They handled the entire project, and I only had to make one phone call to get the complete job done. The office staff has been most helpful through it all. They are the highest caliber for courtesy and service that can be found today and are thorough and attentive to detail.
When the estimator came to assess the damage, I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and professional approach to our needs. He was a much-needed calming influence. He is outstanding, and my respect for him has only grown through the process. When he submitted the estimate to USAA, he successfully got them to pay for a new roof covering the entire structure, not just the damaged part. That alone saved us thousands of dollars, and we are most grateful. He also earned my thanks for being on site several times as work was in progress.
The project manager seemed to be here whenever work was being done to make sure everything met his extremely high standards. I can’t overemphasize how important our relationship has been because I knew that we could absolutely trust him and the workmanship of the crews. He shared with me that a subcontractor gets one chance with the company. If that subcontractor displays incompetence, you never see them again on a Lone Star job. That’s what I wanted to hear.
All the subcontractors did outstanding work. The carpenter and his crew, including his wife, are the best. My Dad was a carpenter with a strong work ethic and a determination to do the job right the first time. He taught me well. The carpenters displayed those qualities and should be highly commended because the workplace is full of people who don’t adhere to either standard.
The roofers were also outstanding. I was amazed at one of them having been with the company for 25 years and the skilled roofers who worked with him. We were very glad to get high quality paint skillfully applied to the exterior because the house with a new roof and new paint looks great. The painters also repaired and painted sheetrock nails that had been popped out by the “explosion” caused by lightning striking the second story roof.
Finally, I would like to commend the electricians. The owner of that company is an electrician’s electrician and gave us complete confidence in what needed to be done in order to repair damages but also to keep us safe. His electricians replaced the entire panel outside the garage where electric service comes from the transformer on the pole out back. Pedernales Electric had already replaced the transformer immediately after the lightning strike. The men also replaced all the breakers in the panel box inside the garage. On our schedule they will soon replace switches and receptacles throughout the house. When I first met the electricians, I quickly gained complete confidence because the senior electrician was an encyclopedia who has been doing his job over 50 years, as I recall. I myself had worked as a helper with an electrician in his 60’s for a while when I was saving money to attend college, and I have many fond memories of working with him (well, maybe not the 135-150 degree heat in attics or crawling under houses built on pier and beam).
All in all, I have gained the utmost respect for Lone Star Roofing & Construction and all the people who work for the company. You have our gratitude for making an extremely stressful lightning strike seem like a routine matter. Thank you.

This is an awesome company. Lone Star has always done an exceptional job for us. We have had this company replace our roof, repair an outdoor shed , and remodel our kitchen. Everything has been first class. I will recommend this company to anyone. I have not only used them in the past for my needs, but will also use them in the future. This company is a 5 STAR no doubt. I've been using Lone Star for several years now, they've done multiple jobs for us. This go around was for a much-needed roof replacement. Their team (Charlene, James, Josh) was very professional and helpful every step of the way. The roof came out beautiful and on time. Hat goes off to the organization from start to finish, all about the details which is hard to find. They over communicated every step in the process from initial walk through, assisting with the insurance process and throughout the construction. Their Quality Assurance / Quality Control team is top rate through every detail while providing options and patiently worked through existing design issues. Highly recommended LoneStar.

Shawn and the LoneStar team did a great job helping me get through an insurance claim for hail damage. They were able to negotiate the overall cost so that I would be made whole. The other great thing about LoneStar is they are able to serve as a General Contractor for any additional construction needs you may have. I had several items that needed repairs or upgrades. While I had them there for my new roof, I hired them to know knock out several other items. All services were on time and within original proposed budget. I highly recommend LoneStar Roofing and Construction.

My husband and I purchased a new condo in need of repair. Phase one was new flooring, a rebuilt shower (water damage to studs), and the electrical panel needed updating. Responses to my requests or questions were immediate and contact info was available from the start. My primary man in the trenches was Antonio who was trustworthy and a perfectionist. Contractors/workers were background checked and reliable. Because we went through USAA, the work is warranted for 5 years - peace of mind. Is this the cheapest place to do work for you? No. Is it reasonable with reliability and warranty? Yes. On to phase two!Services: Install flooring
