I went to Lowes to get a replacement Water Heater which was still under the manufacturer warranty. I told them the code that was given to me by the manufacturer, but they said that they would not give me a replacement without the original receipt and would not accept a copy. The woman at Customer Service, Kirssyla, was very mean, rude and uncooperative.
Because I had the plumber with me and needed him to get started with the install, I paid for the new Water Heater and left to get my receipt. When I returned with the original receipt, instead of getting reimbursed, I was charged again which I did not find out until later.
Once the Water Heater manufacturer assured me that they had sent Lowes the refund of the Water Heater, I went to Lowes to get the charge for the Water Heater refunded to my credit card. Lowes refused to give me the refund. So, not only did they get the Water Heater cost reimbursed from the manufacturer, but they also have my payment for the Water Heater! The woman at Customer Service, Kirssyla, continued to hassle me. The manager, Penny, got involved, and she sided with Kirssyla. Penny also refused to have my credit card refunded and said that is just the way it is.

Very poor service lady and customer service desk was very rude and not helpful kinda like a broken record repeatedly said it’s store policy when ask for a manager she refused and said he gonna say the same thing well when I finally spoke to the manager he fixed the issue in 2 minutes.

Service has gone down. Can never find employees in most areas where needed. I think everyone goes to lunch at the same time. No customer interaction.

Edit 1.31.25 Unless the number has a different answer than your corporate email I see no point.
The delivery crew took our brand new refrigerator when we never asked for a removal service. The store kept on saying someone will call me within 24 hours from the delivery location. Never happened, I sent an email to their corporate and I was happy someone reached back to me. To my surprise they take no accountability, as their investigation did not prove the fridge was taken. They think a 29 refund for the delivery was enough.

Today November 6th at noon I was at Lowe's on Austin highway spent another about $2,000 I was very disappointed the person at the register did not know how to work the register and she needed help and they need a manager or somebody that knows how to do returns and purchases next to me there was a lady she needed help and she told me that they ignored her this store should needs quite a bit of improvement educate and train new employees how to do and what to do with the register and many other things

They sold a door that took 6 month to get made right and at no point in the tree times they came out did they say anything about the threshold having to be an inch and a half higher. It’s a tripping hazard in my house. Lowe’s has refused to do anything to correct it. Lowe’s is run by frauds and scam artists. Expect no customer service and even less competency. They only get 1 star because fools refuses to let me give them less.

I walked in to return 5 privacy fence panels that I spent $600 on and this white lady at the returns was being real rude and weird at the time I didn’t have my receipt on hand only the card I purchased with (so I figured they can pull it up) and item number. She pulled out her measuring tape and started measuring the panels and told me I couldn’t return them apparently they don’t sale that item there so my mistake I should’ve gone to the store I originally bought them from. But as I was trying to get my refund she asked this black man in a camo shirt “would this be cosmetic” and moved her eyes towards the cart they were on trying to say low key the panels were damaged when I bought them damaged in the first place and it was within 30 days. And right away he asked if they were special ordered I said no and he refused to honor my refund with an ugly attitude no customer service skills from either of them at all and this isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue with that manager or whoever he is flashbacks came back after this incident and I will never buy from this location again. I went to Schertz where I originally purchased and OMG the service was so smooth!!!! The lady didn’t even inspect my items she gave me my refund with no problems what so ever I was in and out talk about great customer service!!!! I’ll definitely be making that further drive to go over there.

It was clean and Staff were on hand to help me locate items. However, I felt like the staff was not knowledgeable about the fittings I needed and I had to locate the proper size of fittings that were needed for said project. Check out lady was very nice.
