Very nice, prices are higher than HD. But much larger appliance section. The DYI for kids projects is amazing. Great customer attention.

Went to buy a picnic table yesterday. Paid at the garden register and was told by the cashier to pull my truck up next to them and someone a
Would help me load it. So I pulled my truck up, waited 10 minutes while watching the loading guys finish helping someone. I went over and talked to Joseph and he said he would be right there. Another 10 minutes go by. I was then told that a manager needs to unlock the tables. So I go back to the front and ask for a manager to unlock a table. I proceeded to wait another 40 minutes as they called the manager 3 times. FINALLY, Tyler the “manager” walks out casually (no apology, just completely apathetic) and helps me load it. Total wait time of over an hour. I used to be die hard Lowe’s but this was so remarkably bad I’ll just go to Home Depot.

I had one of the worst experiences at the Lowe’s on 1604 and Blanco in San Antonio TX, purchasing a washer and dryer set. I went in on Tuesday to look for a certain brand. The sales associate told me that the brand we wanted was not in stock. So we looked at a different brand and found out that the washer was in stock, but not the dryer. By the time we got to the third brand we were told both washer and dryer was in stock. The price for the washer and dryer was over $2000.
We understood that it would probably take a couple of days to be delivered so we scheduled it for delivery the following Monday. We were to receive a call between 8 AM and 11 AM. When no call was received I reached out to the store to find out about our delivery. The automated system told me that it was scheduled delivery was for the following Monday.
I got an associate on the phone and was told they needed to check to see what the issue was and that they would get back to me shortly. I sat on the phone for 20 minutes with no one making any attempt to let me know that they were trying to work on resolving the issue. I hung up redialed the store only to be put on hold once again for another 10 minutes.
Once the sales associate answered, I was told that it would not be delivered on the day promised. But they had worked it out so that I would receive the washer and dryer set three days beyond the date. It was supposed to arrive. Mind you, the original date was one week after the purchase. The best they could do was to deliver a week and a half out.
Again, this was one of the worse sales experience I’ve had. If you’re looking for an appliance, I would highly recommend not going to the store because neither the management or the sales associates give a damn about their customers only about making a sale. From now on, I’m sticking to Home Depot.

Went in to find a water heater that I researched online. The online price was $20 less than the price in store. And when I asked the checkout manager if they would be willing to price match to the Lowe’s.com price, she said no because they market prices higher in different locations. It was only $20 so probably shouldn’t have been a big deal for them to match, or even for me to just pay it. The issue was more so that her communication about this came off rude and unfriendly.

The worst place ever in. Two employees were standing and gossiping at paint station. I asked the man at paint station, where can I find a pig mat? One older man answered: I don’t know and it’s not my area. The other turned around and labeled the can. Ignoring my present and let me wait as if I don’t even exist. After few minutes, the guy asked me what were you looking for. Then he direct me to isle 17… I couldn’t find the item (pig mat). So I walked around and found a young lady who would pull up in a walking phone like. She informed me that Lowe doesn’t have any on hand. I wish the guys could have save me by not wasting time looking for an item not available. I don’t want to name and name. Hey! You should be working and not chatting. Shame on you!
I would not recommend this location to anyone I know. You would be frustrated to find someone who willingly assist you when you need guidance.

The associates as a whole are awesome here. Just walking through multiple employees offered assistance! I saw teamwork with the employees as well. I am talking young men doing lifting for ladies everywhere. I have been to every Lowe's location in the SA metro and this location has the best employees as a whole!

Never had such an invisible experience at any Lowe's except for this location. No acknowledgment from anyone, at all. Not the associates, not the cashier, almost as if I was in their way or an inconvenience to them. Maybe if I looked like the way their typical customers looked, maybe I'd have been acknowledged.
