The store manager at this location is amazing! Her attention to customer service is incredible. I have shopped at this location for years and every time I feel like I was part of MAC family and not just another number. Thank you so much for always going above and beyond!

I booked a 45-minute makeup appointment for November 8 at 1:30pm. My appointment didn’t begin until 1:50pm and didn’t finish until after 3pm, which caused me to run late for my event. The artist also paused several times to serve customers despite other staff being present. On top of that, one of my eyelashes lifted by the time I got back to my hotel & I had no glue to try & reattach it myself. The makeup itself was fine, but the timing and interruptions made the experience stressful. I wanted to make you aware of this as it wasn’t the standard I expected.

Love this location. Jennifer and her team always do such a great job! They went above and beyond for my Halloween look and kept checking with me through out the make up process to see if liked it. I loved it! They help choose products for you too!

Had a great experience recently with Nena who did my make up for my maternity photoshoot! She was so friendly and accommodating to the look I wanted! I was in a pinch for make up services and so happy I went with MAC! I will be back! 10/10 recommend

Really awkward experience. The lovely young woman helped me and my sister out right away. However, the older woman manager Jennifer kept hovering where we were without speaking to us. If I went to look at the lipsticks, she would grab the lipstick that was directly in front of me reaching over without saying excuse me or anything. If you’re going to profile at least try to be subtle about it. Very standoffish and awkward. This was 8/26 around 7 o clock. Will be reaching out to corporate as well.

I had a wonderful experience at MAC today! Jennifer and Steph greeted me right away and were so kind and welcoming. I usually shop online, but I was in-store looking for a birthday gift for my friend — specifically lipstick.
Jennifer showed me exactly where to go, swatched shades for me, and helped me make a quick decision since I was in a bit of a rush. It may seem like a small thing, but those thoughtful touches really made a difference.
They even wrapped the gift in tissue paper and placed it in MAC’s signature black box — such a classy detail. Great customer service is rare these days, but Jennifer and Steph went above and beyond. I’ll definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely experience.

My experience at this location was very disappointing today, Tuesday, April 22nd at around 3:50pm. The store was empty. I was the only customer there. I went in to return a face powder (MAC Mineralize/Skinfinish Natural) that did not work for me.
I was denied the return of my item because on date of purchase, a ziplock bag with travel items was given to me as a gift. No where on receipt nor by the sales lady who sold the items to me explained that if I had to return an item, I would have to return the gift as well. I never asked for this gift, but had I known this was a return policy before hand, I would have happily brought back the ziplock bag in order to do my return.
The assistant manager who approached me when I walked in was very rude, kept repeating the same thing over and over without answering any of my other questions. She was very condescending. Asked if I would let her speak so she could explain. But then proceeded to say the same thing she had already said several times.
This assistant Manager, as she stated she was, also kept getting closer into my face which was very unprofessional. I had to ask her to step back and get out of my space.
I work in customer service myself and it was very disappointing to have received this poor service. This is definitely not how customers should be treated.
There definitely needs to be more training done at this location as, I see others who have left a review have also received similar treatment.
MAC should be embarrassed by these “assistant managers” and other employees who do not value their customers.
I will never return to this location.
Had zero stars been an option….i definitely would have chosen zero stars.

My mom, my matron of honor, and i had the most AMAZING experience at this store. We originally had an appointment at another makeup store and due to some unfortunate circumstances, we were told that they would not be able to do our makeup for my wedding. My mom was frantically calling around and spoke to Jennifer. She told us to come on over and the team was so great as they got us ready for my wedding. Jennifer, Alessandra, and Nena were so professional and wonderful! They truly lifted my spirits on my wedding day and made me feel like a beautiful bride. I wish there were more ways for me to thank them for all that they did on such a short notice! and in the process of doing our makeup, they still took care of shoppers that came in the store. I hadn't shopped at MAC in a while but i will definitely be going back to the La Cantera store to do business.

I visited a MAC Cosmetics store recently and found the experience surprisingly unwelcoming. Staff seemed overly controlling, discouraging customers from touching or browsing products on the shelves, instead insisting on retrieving items themselves. While I understand the need for organization, it felt stifling not to be able to see or feel what I was buying. A group that came in after us was treated the same way, creating an overall atmosphere of hyper-vigilance rather than helpfulness. It made the visit feel more uncomfortable than enjoyable.

I had a 30 minute makeover done and I was very happy to get to work with Jennifer. She was kind and very patient (even when I accidentally pulled my nose piercing out and had to find it). She explained every step she was doing and taught me some tricks to get my makeup the way I like it. She also gave me ways to prepare my skin before applying my makeup.
The whole experience was amazing. I am definitely a MAC girl now thanks to the ladies at this MAC store.
