I went to Macy’s to try out some men’s cologne because, let’s be real, the only way to know how a cologne truly smells is to test it in person. One annoying thing was that there were no tester cards available, so I had to ask an employee for them.
As I was testing the colognes, the Macy’s employee approached me and asked if I was ready to buy one. I told her I was just testing them, but she responded with something like, “Oh, well you’re just wasting my time then.”
I found that response pretty rude. She’s an employee getting paid regardless of whether she makes a sale or not. I get that sales are important, but being pushy and rude isn’t a good look.
If Macy’s wants people to have a good shopping experience, they should have tester cards readily available and not make customers feel pressured to buy on the spot.
Would’ve been a better experience if I didn’t feel rushed and judged.

We did some repairs on a store inside here. Had to fasten some glass countertops to the cabinets.

Walking in your would think you would smeel the mixes of pleasent perfumes not this time it smelt like raw sewage or an outhouse. Something was off.

I had the most amazing experience at Macy’s, thanks to an incredibly kind and helpful employee named Robin. From the moment we walked in, she went above and beyond to assist us. I was shopping for a semi-formal dress for an event tomorrow, and she not only pointed me in the right direction but also helped me find a coat.
I haven’t shopped at Macy’s in years, and I honestly don’t remember receiving this level of service—Robin made me feel like royalty! She deserves a promotion for her exceptional customer care. She went out of her way to show me where all the departments were.
Robin was also so sweet to my 7-year-old, complimenting her good behavior and making her feel special. This experience was memorable for both of us, and we’ll definitely be back—hopefully to see Robin again! Macy’s, you have a true gem on your team! There was another very helpful employee upstairs in the formal dresses department, but I didn’t catch her name.
Macy’s has really upped their customer service game!! Such a great experience today, I had to share about it!

Department store where we generally buy good quality items, this time we bought Levi's pants and they had a 30% discount, they came out at a good price, it is not always expensive to buy here, highly recommended.
