After living overseas for many years, I took my daughter to Michaels in our new city. She couldn’t believe the amount of affecting for painting (a class she is in in HS). She walked, open-mouthed through the store. She even took pictures of all the yarn offerings for her crocheting friend back in Japan.It was a great experience and we found everything we needed (and more).

The store was so beautifully organised and laid out. I’ve never been to a Michaels before (I’m new to America) and I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. They have lots of cute seasonal and holiday themed decor. I was actually in there looking for a ring binder, but they didn’t have any. I did get some beautiful candles though!

Always a great trip. Always spend more than intended, but whatever. Good selection of the stuff we're looking for. Staff is always friendly. Location is always clean.

I love getting my painting supplies here! Also, for my bday, my daughters gave me a print of an original painting that's been in my family most of my life. I took the print there to be framedThey did a wonderful job.

Absolutely despise SELF CHECKOUT.the first "team member" we asked for help was rude and walked off mid-conversation. Second team member was just that a member of the team who was a huge help in getting the things we needed. Much appreciated.

The staff is very helpful, plenty of parking, not a fan of the new self check out. If I have to work while I shop the prices should a a lot less.

The store manager was very rude. Condescending and not customer focused at all. Their signs read one thing ALL turns out it's only SELECT. It was a very busy Sunday and the employees were stating they hadn't taken their 15 minute break, so I get it you're having a bad busy day but there is no reason to be rude or discouraging to the customers. Coming from retail I fully understand this store manager may need a vacation or a break because she was definitely not trying to help on this day. Up until the manager gave bad customer service everyone else including the employee who hadn't taken their break we're outstanding. I feel for the employees having to work with a manager that takes her frustration out on others. It made all of them look bad. When I asked to speak to her boss she rudely said, "like I said you can call 1-800-MICHAEL" and hung up.

Stock is very poor. Associate not knowledgeable. I went to spend a couple of hundred dollars and left spending under 20 and regretted spending that much there. Malfunction of the check out machine and then the door alarm sounded. Really bad experience all around.

I started shopping at Michaels because they offered better pricing on a few items I needed - a chalkboard, markers, etc., and then discovered the customer service and speed of checkout were just astonishing compared to my other local box craft store. Michaels has great coupons, offers teacher discounts, and their curbside is awesome. I also love getting ideas from Patricia every time I go. She's always so friendly, remembers her customers (who does that these days?), and spending that extra moment chatting about crafts at checkout reminds me that there's still community around us, waiting to be built.
