Booked an appointment the day before and drove through 5 o’clock traffic just to get to the shop for the guy to turn me away. Now the time it is all shops close in 30 min or less. Wish they would have called me to cancel before I drove across town in traffic hour. Will not be coming back to waste my time was a regular will be making myself a regular else where such poor communication.

My service at Midas on Walzem and Windcrest clean fast welcoming the staff there tremendous work it's not many places you can go and get great service and fast and me most places you going to get one or the other not at that Midas on walls and Windcrest I have been there several years and it's always been the same persistence accuracy but that's what it takes to survive in businesses

I came to get a check engine light checked out and was told it would be $3800 to fix because it was the carburetor sensors was what she stated it was. I told her I didn’t have that money so she informed me of their credit card. I only qualified for $3000 so she said she would do me a “favor” and bring it down to the $3000 so they could fix it. A week and a half later, my serpentine belt snapped on the highway so I had it taken here again since I didn’t know of any other place to take it to, even worse mistake than the first. Last time they were very predatory and took advantage. This time they were even worse. Matt took the most advantage of me and told me yes it was the belt that snapped and how it needed to also replace some other parts like the compressor because my ac was now messed up. I want to express how he immediately started working on my car without my permission and when I was told this price I told him I couldn’t afford that since I had to get a credit card out with them and this was even more than I had in my savings. He kept asking how much I had in my savings and I told him I wasn’t willing to spend over a certain amount and then he proceeded to tell me in a very annoyed tone of voice how he had already started working on replacing the line for it and I told him how if I was just informed what was going on and I don’t have that kind of money. He said he would stop but that it was going to be $1348 “right out the ballpark.” I told him the most I could do was around $500, because again, my savings was supposed to go towards my son’s MRI. He ended up saying 620 with taxes included so at that point I agreed to that but it wasn’t completely fixed and he told me to not turn on the ac because there was metal pieces in it still. I took it to another mechanic to get a second opinion, that’s when the other mechanic took a look and automatically told me how I actually didn’t need what he said I needed fixed. And how they intentionally left me without free-on for my ac to not work properly. I took it back because he also mentioned how the compressor was actually faulty. I brought this up to Matt Keefover, and automatically he felt offended as if I said he messed the compressor up when I explained how the mechanic had said how some compressors may come as faulty when refurbished so they just needed to swap it out with one that did work. Matt started giving me a hard time again and so I had called the mechanic so he could talk to him and Matt got so mad because the mechanic was asking him questions on why he did certain work and told him what his findings were and Matt immediately told me he didn’t want to talk to him. Oh mind you, when I was already tired and frustrated of dealing with Matt and his lies, I told him I couldn’t keep coming up with more money because he did bring up how my car now needed more things which brought the price back up to the $1348 and that’s when I told him apparently you want me to cough up that exact amount of $1348 because how is it that we agreed to $620 but now you tell me it needs more stuff and it’s at the exact same price you quoted me originally and how I was trying to save that money for my sons upcoming MRI this December. Then he proceeded to say how we all have problems going on in life and how he’s not telling me his. He didn’t replace it the first time. I headed home and then he called me and told me to bring it back to replace it and still tried to haggle me for more money but I told him I was done doing business with that establishment. Save your time and money and go to a different mechanic shop. They will take advantage of you especially if you’re a single mom. They treat you nice first time around but then they will leech off of you whenever they can. There are several mechanic shops off of new braunfels street that are affordable and will not take advantage of you like they do here. The one I went to which was a life saver was on commerce and new braunfels. They are honest there and will not take advantage of you and do amazing work!

This is Latoya I went to changed my oil an they did something to my Cadillac converter my car is not running right I’m do not recommend coming here I’m goin to contact corporate an if they don’t do nothing bout it I’ll be taking them to court

Went in for an oil change & used the coupon that was offered on the website for $49.99 the price went up to $74.99. And plus $20.00 to add coolant in my car. My total walk out price was $108.00 that’s too expensive and that didn’t even include a filter. Don’t recommend won’t be back

It’s pretty rare to find outstanding service, but Danniele definitely delivered! I called so many different places to get quotes on new breaks/rotors and no other place made me feel as comfortable and confident to drop $800(ish). She is very knowledgeable and did a great job at explaining what was wrong with my car. Not once did she ever seem annoyed at my (many) phone calls and questions. I did not speak to the mechanic, but my husband said that he was extremely nice too. We both left feeling like our car was in the best hands possible. It’s also a plus that they were the most affordable option in town too! We will be back to Midas on Perrin Beitel for sure! Thank you for taking care of our Subie :)

Matt and Danielle were amazing. Excellent service from their team. Travel from Gonzales Tx to San Antonio to see them. I’ve gotten my oil change , brakes and new tires from them.

I recently visited this Midas location for an oil change, and I was thoroughly impressed with the service. The staff was professional and friendly. They even did a complimentary inspection of my vehicle to ensure everything else was running smoothly. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be returning for future maintenance needs.

I don’t remember her name but the lady at the desk was amazing she explained things to me and saved me money which is also wonderful. Will definitely be coming back to this Midas. Thank you for taking care of us and our car.
